teeheehee...
guess all must be anticipating to know how the sales went on sunday, wahahaaa.. :p
honestly, i wasn't really hoping to recuperate any significant profit from the flea. i never did harbour high hopes cos i know the higher my expectations, the greater the disappointment, hahar..
Anyway, it wasn't that bad after all! ... i made quite a pile, hehe =)
and more importantly, it was indeed an enriching and fun experience!
when we reached zouk around noon, it was already drizzling.. wilson had a booth and he reserved a quarter of it and an empty rack for my stuff. Darn! i realised i brought too few clothes hangers. i had about 18 hangers but they merely occupied less than half the rack! -_-
i had so many clothes where i had nowhere to put :(
so i chose and displayed my best pieces..
and for those rather 'orbiang' kind, i made sure they didnt look that bad by adorning them with accessories like necklaces and beads.. haha.. and it worked!
we were so busy setting up the stall that we didn't realise how time flew. Before we knew it, it was 2pm and the prospective shoppers started strolling in.

i was rather happie 8) with myself at first when most of my tops were sold in a jiffy!
a better reason, my stuff looks new and were so damn cheap lor!
cos i didnt know those shoppers would actually bargain with me.. so i didn't even mark up my prices...
i've got this skirt which i've bought for 40+ bucks back then and i sold it for like 5 bucks? this auntie still had the cheek to bargain with me and in the end, i had to sell it to her at 4 dollars :(
no choice la.. either i clear it then or run the risk of lugging all my unsold stuff back home again -_- then back to square one lor -_- cos i know i would never wear those clothes again.
then my friends came!
WHAHAHHAHA..
first it was Darric!! THANKS DUDE!!!
too bad i didnt have the chance to take a photo with him cos he was so early and i was quite busy at that time, hahaa.. he bought a straw bag for his wife, keke.. so loving, hahaa..
More came after that.. :p

jeffrey came and treated us to one whole jug of vodka gin tonic!!!
omg, hahhaa...imagine getting tipsy on a sunday afternoon ?! -__- hahhha... but HEY THANKS!!! we appreciated it alot!!!! he even bought another can of 100 plus when i told him i didnt want to down any alcoholic stuff, keke..
he even helped pack our stuff right after the flea and gave me a Magical toy rabbit that can light up in different colors!!! it's so pretty! hahhaha...
and thanks to zen and ivan for taking time to come down tooooo!!! they're always there to support (still remember
Nong Nong time ago... they also came down to support our VERY sub-standard dance performances @ Sexpo -_-)
hahhaha...these are the friends who go through thick and thin with u, keke... so THANKS A GREAT DEAL!!!
*HUGGGGSSSSS!!!!
last but not least, a great thank you to all who wished me luck hehe... winston even wanted to send
liang teh over to soothe my throat *
it's certainly so heart-warming to know how much your friends really cared :_) xie xie...
so,
here's the update...
i've cleared more than 60% of my clothes and have earned a total of ~250 bucks from the flea *beams :) :) *
and more importantly, i think i've learnt a valuable lesson from this --->
that is, NOT TO BUY CLOTHES ON IMPULSE AGAIN!!!
i was still thinking of using what im gonna earn to buy more new clothes.. but after the flea, my mentality has totally changed.. and im certain i would SAVE UP ALL that money !!!
'cos for every piece of clothe i've sold, that heartache i felt (to part with them for >90% off their original price!) was even greater...
u wouldnt understand how terrible i felt.. its like giving away a part of you for...... SO DAMN CHEAP!!!! like almost FREE liao lor -_-
haiz...
my clothes must have felt way so insulted...
-_-
