brought my class kiddos to the Singapore Zoo with the rest of the Primary Ones yesterday...

Pedro, the otter as the recycling ambassador :D and one really huge python... made their way to the stage.

had some time left after the show to walk around before the school buses came to pick us up...
and guess what?
i got lost!

despite having a map, one with pictures and straight-forward directions, in my hands, i could still get lost lor.. **APPLAUSE!!
and with 30 kids screaming enthusiastically behind me, "MISS LIANG I WAN TO SEE WHITE TIGER! I WAN SEE ORANG UTAN! I WAN SEE....."
i can really go crazy...

cos i was like already fretting trying to locate the rest of the P1 classes, fumbling with the map in my hands, doing a head-count making sure all my 30 kids were behind me and at the same time, occasionally yanking one or two who strayed out to the road back to the pavement...

and the best thing, rachel was howling like a monkey at the top of her voice, i seriously thought one big one was behind me!

she was darn noisy even tourists turned to stare...

Anyway, one of my colleagues came and fetch us back to the bus bay cos they were so worried for us, hahaa.... by the time we reached the bus bay, the rest of the classes have already left the zoo.. darn sad, it wasnt such a nice experience after all...
my greatest regret was that i didnt manage to bring my kids to see the white tigers that they wanted to so much :(
and my lost of patience due to misbehaviour of some of my kids at the end of the trip when we were lost, i admit, really did dampen our spirits abit...
haiz.. i hate chiding them..



Today was nice, cos it was BE YOURSELF DAY cum Teacher's Day Celebration!!!

it was a nice comedy! Amanda Bynes and Chris Carmack were damn funny, teeheehee...
too bad kel had to leave right after that for work again.. he took time off just to watch the show with me. His boss is crazy... he made him work from yesterday morning till 6am this morning and expect him to be up at 9am for work again today.
Haiz,what to do... glad he's quitting soon. i can only ask him to stay positive and take care of his own health.
