gathered in studio with kiyomi and kelly at 8pm for the last rehearsal of Scandalous before Amateur team's virgin performance at Fullmoom bar...
Angela couldnt make it last minute and we had to change some of our positioning and moves again...

one word... WOW
the amateur team got really nervous cos THEY WERE REALLY REALLY GOOD DANCERS...
kiyomi was "wah lao-ing" ALL THE WAY throughout their whole performance...

we all felt like going home. keke

some 10 ladies from the Civil Service club came to the studio for a preview of a mtvXotic and lap dance performance by the amateur team..

did Scandalous followed by Lap by kelly & kiki.... hehe...

the 4 of us were mercilessly piling up moisturiser and powder on our knees before the show cos' we deemed the friction between the parquet floor and our knees would make sliding up almost impossible..

fyi, we wore track pants so there wasnt any problem during our rehearsals to 'slide' gracefully up...but last night we had to wear frilly skirts...where got cloth at the knees u tell me?
we tried and we horribly look like clumsy ka-pos (aka. frogs) trying to force ourselves up... i assure u
it wasnt at all scenic...

no choice.... Nivea Intensive Moisturing Milk and Johnson's Baby Powder will do the job nicely!! haha
Joy came in and was like... "aey, what are u all doing hah??"

heh......... :p

paiseh ah... amateur team neh... cannot expect too much..
maybe after 7 more years then we can glide up nicely without the moisturiser, hehe...


in view of Sexpo coming up in like less than a month's time, we girls are gonna get really busy with the dance rehearsals and all.. now weekends are burnt
cannot par-tor liao...haha... since we only meet on weekends now :_(
but dear was very supportive & understanding... he was so nice it makes me upset..


yah lor...blame it on pms or what...
thinking of spending even lesser time with him (now maybe only a dinner or two per week only) makes me very xin li bu ping heng u know.... :(
and it's not his fault... i guess sometimes if one party grumbles for not spending enough time with him/her, it makes it seem that he cares..


but on the contrary, he's SOOOOO understanding he can say, "Okie then...u go ahead lor..."

when u are cooped up at home, u have nothing to do but to blog.

my fever has not gone down yet... nothing very serious cos it's only slight..
but whole body's aching and my throat is not anywhere better :(

i've slept for 14 hours hoping more rest would kick that flu-bug outta my body..

downed pandols, flu tablets and even cough syrup..and nothing seems to work at all :(

had our last day of PSLE Marking yesterday and 4 of us colleagues were gathered in the canteen chatting while waiting for the school to dismiss us all..
one of my colleague was having such a bad flu, i guessed that was when i caught it..HAIZ.. why my immune system so MEI CHU XI one.....
after that, i began sneezing non-stop until i went home, my whole body was aching...so holed up in bed right after my dinner..

when i woke today, was still feeling feverish..
nose stuck and my throat hurts...

supposed to meet kiyomi to buy ivan's bday pressie @ 130 in town today, which thereafter we would proceed to our dance training... (i've been looking forward to it!)
think im not even well to go for dancing, which i tried very hard psychoing myself that im fine enough to go... but i think my body is telling me otherwise.. :(

im so sad cos i know i'll miss all the fun....
and today's supposedly the rehearsal for monday's performance...im so sad i cant rehearse now...

i am still baffled by what cordyceps actually are..
Xin told me they are worms....
we were dining @ Central last week when i picked up one from the tonic soup... YEIKS..... but Yue said they are actually plants....
But why do they look so much like worms?????

the question has been mystifying me for a few sleepless nights running already... im STILL keeping the cooked cordycep i picked from the soup with me to observe...... twirling it around my fingers, and trying to figure it out......hmmmm

went studio on friday and Joy said the performance has been postponed to next friday... PHEW! -_-"

instead, we went distributing SensUalJoy & Sexpo pamphlets at the pubs along the stretch of road.. the first and last (for students of SensUalj) stop was Shin.. a karaoke pub..
one of the in-charges of Sexpo briefed us girls on what to tell the crowd... highlights of the exhibit, what free gift la (u wont want to know what it is)...
me and kiyomi were still wondering what size (AA ??) batteries they use.. heh...

ANYway, i tried to be as serious and professional as possible when talking to the people in the pub....as i didnt want them to think i was promoting some dirty sex or something..
Sexpo is an official event going to be launched in Nov 18th at Singapore Expo.. it's basically an exhibition exploring health, sexuality and adult lifestyle. it's far from being anything sleazy..

BUT i was more interested to promote our Studio SensUalJoy.. haha...so most of the time i was talking to the ladies in the pub..heh heh...
anyway, we girls from sensUalj got bored and decided that taking photos at the back alley was definitely much more enjoyable, haha...

IM SUPER HAPPY cos kiyomi is in the Amateur Dance Team with me tooo.....
we gave feedback (whether positive and negative) to each other, (how to gek sey *oops!** and all...haha) in goal of improving our steps, blah blah...
Joy stayed with us after that and she cleaned up our moves.. even down to the Nitty Grittys..WOW...we both found it very, very fruitful :D
i LOVE yesterday's session.. cos i could finally know how horribly i danced before, haha....
cant imagine that night at dblO.... OMG OMG...luckily, no SHOU REN around to laugh at me....hahhaa

i'm improving!!! (at a slow slow sLOW pace of cos) but at least it's not stagnant! bleah*
