When We're Helping We're Happy!

Emmett often gets his hair rinsed/washed after meals. I guess Hailey couldnt handle the messy looking hair that morning after I rinsed him.  Makes me feel like I have taught her well about having "fixed hair"!  I still cant believe he sat so still for her! He wont do that for me even!

Park Days are Here Again!

We love going to the park!  It has become a lot of work for me again though. Someone thinks he can try to go anywhere and do anything his sister can. I'd gotten comfortable sitting and just watching Hailey play....it'll come again some day!

11 Months

And he can all the sudden do all sorts of things! Like climbing on the fireplace for example....

 and one of his faves, play with the broom help sweep! 

 He's figured out he can see out the kitchen window!

 Or manipulate anyone till they are putty in his hands with those big blue eyes!

He is unstoppable!

"The Strawberry Farm"

We love going to Froberg's, aka "The Strawberry farm"! Its a local farmer's market, and you get to pick your own strawberries while they are in season. We have been 3 - 4 times already this season, though today   wasnt the greatest as it is the tail end of Spring Break, but I'm sure by next week, when all the kiddie are back to school, it will be better. 

Hailey has so much fun picking the strawberries and yells "Holy Cow" or "Holy Guacamole" every time she finds a big one. This time we went there were a ton of huge ones so she was yelling it a lot! 

 Emmett got the hang of it pretty quick and now its hard to hold him when we go. He wants to get down so he can grab them!

Mmmmmmmm

 This time we went the berries were so big that our bucket was filling pretty fast so....

we sent the men to get a second bucket!

 This is just funny! He really doesnt have a strawberry in his mouth in this pic, it just looks that way!

Though sometimes after we have picked a ton I feel kinda like Bubba on Forest Gump....strawberry syrup, strawberry jam, strawberry shortcake, strawberry ice cubes, salad with strawberries, fruit salad with strawberries, with my cereal, strawberries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!  We love our strawberries!

Looking through all these pictures and playing catch up has helped me come to a decision....being a kid is awesome!

Or hanging out in pajamas in the morning until someone changes your clothes for you....and not realizing that you should care what you have on in the first place?!

Yup, being a kid is way fun....glad I get to be mommy and at least pretend to be a kid with these kiddos sometimes!

Valentine's Day

This year for Valentine's Day I sent Jonny to work with his special lunch and the kids and I had a special lunch date at home!  Lots of sugar and lots of smiles!

10 Months

At 10 months old my baby turned into a little toddler!  As previously posted, he started walking right before he was 10 months old and he got it down really quick.  I kept saying as soon as he was ready he was just going to take off, and he did!  

This picture right here is my son in a nutshell!  

Very simple, loves to eat (obviously) almost any food you give him, mostly happy all the time, loves attention and clapping for himself, HATES socks!

The "Lost" Ohio Pictures

When I downloaded my pics the first time I had a faint feeling that I was missing some as I started looking through them. So today when I downloaded pics again it started with these ones. Something must have happened last time I downloaded pics and it didnt get them all so here are the "lost" pictures!

It went from freezing to in the 50's, all the snow was melting, and all we needed was sweatshirts to go outside.  So we jumped at the chance to get some sun and went for a walk.

Getting in some final play time/trash Charlotte's room. Laura and I commented constantly about how nice it was that we could send the girls upstairs to entertain each other and that we were not the ones having to do it. Definitely need to be closer so that can happen more often.

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hailey adored the snow....as we expected. There was only a dusting the first day but we got enough over the next few days for her to go out a play a little.

Mom, its cold out here!!! 

This was her first walk out in the snow, not super eventful but cute. It was very hard for me to get her attention at all. 

Look at the grin on her face! Just makes my heart smile!

She and Charlotte had a lot of fun playing together. 

How cute are they sitting there with each other. I would love to know what their conversation was!

And naturally, she had to eat a ton of it! She wouldnt be Hailey if she didnt I guess.  

This video cracks me up because the whole time instead of telling me that she made a snow angel she just keeps telling me that "I know" what she made! Such attitude.

 That girl would have stayed out there all day if I let her! Our little adventure girl!
