Girls' Night!!!

While Mike and Ashlyn were here we had Avery and Emma over for a sleepover! It was so fun and while we love our boy cousins sometimes you just need a little girl time!!! 

They started out the night right by playing games on Eppie's IPad

After dinner and jammies on we had ice cream sundays with ice cream made from our new ice cream maker! 

It may have wired them a little!

Ready for the movie in bed! I would like to say they watched some princess movie, but we went with Toy Story 3 instead. Also a good one.  Hailey and Emma passed out within the first 15 to 20 minutes. Avery on the other hand lasted the WHOLE movie!!! (and then passed out till like 9 the next morning)

It was so so fun! We cant wait till they come visit again so maybe we can do it again! 

9 Months

Our big man! 

When we went to the dr at the beginning of Jan he was 23.5 lbs and 30 inches long!

He loves to be outside! If someone goes out and he doesnt get to go he gets really upset! 

At 9 months he was cruising furniture like crazy and took a couple steps on his own but decided he didnt want to walk for a while still and stopped trying. Crawling was just faster! 

One of his other fave things to do is play in my cupboards! Makes it easier to make dinner as long as I watch where I step! 

 

Cookies for Santa

This is something I want to make sure we do every year as a tradition! It was very fun to just let Hailey go to town on these cookies and do whatever she wanted.

She got pretty excited about it too. I love this pic!

Emmett helped too. The more he helped the less cookies we had to decorate!

Christmas eve we picked three cookies to set out for Santa. With all that sugar I'm pretty sure thats all he could take anyway.

The more she understands how Christmas and Santa work, the more fun Christmas is every year!

I refuse to be a full 2 months behind! If you are looking at this and have the stamina, there are mostly just a ton of pictures. I dont scrap book or anything so this is our record of Christmas...hence lots of pics.
