7 Months

Emmett seems to have developed by leaps and bounds in this past month and become such a little person of his own! He babbles all the time, laughs at himself and everyone else quite a bit, and lets you know when he really wanted whatever it was you just had to take away or take him away from!
He is becoming very interested in EVERYTHING around him and since he is successfully crawling, he can get to most anything now also! Fun for him and frustrating for his sister!

Becoming fairly proficient in using his sippy cup.He loves all his baby food except he is not a fan of peas all the sudden and is feeding himself a little here and there! And thanks to daddy he has had a couple tastes of soda...

I just love rolley diaper shots and this one with his hair fixed before church was just a fave and too cute not to share!

Not only has he learned to crawl and get to things he wants but at the same time he learned to pull himself up on things! My baby disappeared over night!!!!

So Full Of It....

Here We Go Again...

Halloween

Hailey has wanted to be a "wizard" since September so when Halloween time finally got here she was super excited to put her costume on. She probably even wore it a few times before Halloween ;)

The Friday before we were able to go to our ward trunk or treat. She was ecstatic about collecting candy!
Little guy and I manned our trunk and passed out the candy.Halloween day we went to Froberg's farm because we thought they were going to have fun things going on, but turns out it was all only on the weekend. So we took a couple pictures and then met Mimi for lunch instead.

Halloween night was a little chaotic but a ton of fun! We had the Thompsons and the Yeates over so all the cousins could go trick or treating together.

James and Hailey ended up being their own team because they are a little slower than the rest of the kids. They were hilarious! I'm not sure what was cuter, watching their little heads bob up and down as they ran from one door to the next or watching them take turns continuously knocking on the door until someone finally opened!

Dont let this picture fool you! He only slept for about 5 minutes the whole time we were out trick or treating! But it is pretty dang cute none the less.

Cooling Off

Its finally starting to cool off here! We can go out when there is still enough sun that there still arent many mosquitoes out!

I tried sitting him straight in the grass and he wasnt having that.

She would spend all day here if we let her!

I'm not so much... right now he is just rocking and lunging forward but I dont think I have long till he takes off!!

Pure Happiness!!!

We got a box in the mail today for Hailey from "Aunt Sippy"!!! Not sure Hailey could have been happier!

Hailey has always loved riding the Pumba at Wal-Mart and we have watched Lion King almost every day since we took her to see it in 3D at the theater on her birthday! So when Pumba came out of the box she was thrilled!

The only thing that could have beat Pumba was what came out next! Maximus from Tangled!!!!

Homecoming Parade

Last week we went to Clear Brook's homecoming parade. They had some pretty cute floats and even better, they had fire trucks which Hailey loved! One girl came over and handed her a penguin beanie baby. I'm not sure what she was more excited about though. The penguin....Or the TON of candy she ended up with by the end. Kids in the parade were just throwing handfuls of candy at our feet! We had enough to fill a gallon size ziploc bag!!! Who needs Halloween?!

6 Months!!!

Our big boy is 6 months old!!! I love this age!

He is really starting to figure some things out! He starting to babble ma's and ba's, he rolls everywhere and sits unsupported. He's had some baby food, not a lot but he scarfs everything we have given him. However, the dr said he is obviously still thriving on just nursing so there is no need to push the baby food unless we really want to. On that note....he weighs 22lbs! More than Hailey did at a year old. And he hit 28 inches. Over 95% on both! I have taken up body building so I can lug him around!

He's got two bottom teeth in there!

He is starting to struggle with separation anxiety. He will not be left alone without you knowing he is not loving it

When anyone walks through this doorway he grabs them as fast as possible and we either get a pleading face or a big grin

Who can resist that face?

I Think I am Crazy Sometimes

Often after about 5ish I find myself counting down the minutes to bed time. Then I look at pics like these and I wish they were awake to play with some more!

Happy Birthday Hailey!!!

We had a blast for Hailey's 3rd birthday! I asked her almost a month before her birthday what kind of birthday party she wanted and she said a Care Bear party, and that was her answer every other time she was asked!

We played "Pin the belly badge on Cheer Bear". I have to give a shout out to Jonny right here because he drew that Care Bear from looking at a picture!

We decorated bear shaped sugar cookies as Care Bears.

And we even had a Rainbow walk!

Of course we had to have lunch! PB&J, fruit, and rainbow jello blocks!
