i was blind to a lot of things,
but God showed them to me one by one,
so that i may see things in His perspective,
so that i may seek heavenly things,
so that i may have a place in His Heavenly Home.

heard something today that should have hurt me,
and make me speak horrible, unloving words,
but it didnt
because the Lord has prepared me for it
and allowed me to respond to it
in a way that pleases Him.

i didnt do anything to earn such kindness
from the Lord who makes stars shine.
in fact, i did many things to earn me quite the contrary.
He isnt kind to me because im kind to Him.
He is kind to me,
because He is kind.

=)

i shall learn to love all too,
regardless of how they treat me.
thats how my Heavenly Father is,
and thats how i should be~

pray for me okays,
it will be a challenge!

because God is good.

kind of defeats the purpose of having a log of events right.

who loves matthew's winnie-the-pooh rubber beach ball so much
that the ball which was once called "matthew's toy"
is now called "miffy's toy"

friends,
lost and found.

after the months of strained relationship,
they started using the pronoun "we" again.
like they were never lost.
like "we" were never lost.

maybe i really was thinking too much.
insecurity has always been a problem.

oh well.
shant get my hopes up.
but its still a perk to know
they may be on the way back into my life =)

its been so cold these few days.
my hands and feet are perpetually semi-frozen.
brrr.

dinner @ east coast with my family today.
has been long since we went out for dinner together,
so thank God for today! =)

took matt and jean to the beach for a while after dinner.
havent been to the seaside at night for a long long time.
the last time was years ago i think,
during some chalet.

it was lovely,
the beach at night.
almost magical,
the moment when you step out of the litted pavement,
and onto the sand,
where the darkness, wind and sound of waves envelop you
and shut out the rest of the world.
its really like stepping into a different realm altogether.

i do hope the rain stops soon.
all the laundry wont dry in this prolonged wet weather,
and now i have nothing left to wear.
sniff.

but i also hope the rain dont stop,
because it makes some things in life so much more enjoyable.
like sleeping, for example.

i've been having cravings for the macdonald's ice cream cone =S
had 3 of them in the past four days~!
and as im typing this,
im yearning for yet another.

bbq for 2 days straight!
took me a lot of shampoo to get the stench out of my hair.
ahaha.

the end of a crazy week,
and the start of another.

thank God for sustaining,
and for sending people to encourage me
at times when i most need support.

a big big thank you too,
to those
who kindly offered to lighten my load,
who showed concern,
who was patient enough to listen to my random rantings,
who tried hard to make me laugh despite the stress.
thank you thank you thank you.
=)

lost faith amidst all the busy-ness,
and started depending on my own strength.
then everything started crashing down on me.

without Him, i can really do nothing.

effies was good.
didnt learn as much as i expected from LKY's talk,
but it was a good experience, nonetheless.
He's got a lot of humour in him for an 80 yr old.

There Will Be Blood, it shall be,
because the NC16, Some Violence rating for No Country For Old Men intimidates me greatly.
i know im a lot older than that,
but my heart has only the courage of a ten year old.

planned to watch it with my sister,
but then my dad offered to drive us to and fro,
which made my mum suggest that they go watch too.
so now its a family thing.
ahaha.
wonderful parents, i have.
thank God for that too =)
