we watched Enchanted~! =)
not as enchanting as i thought it would be,
i thought the plot can be explored a lot better.
but still.
it leaves a nice, warm feeling inside =)
after the theater cleared,
dz did a half-twirl while singing "How do you know..."
ahahaha.

oh, we sat in the wrong theater for a while
and missed abt five minutes of the film.
wahahaha.

good break indeed~
and lets keep praying for alvin
and his new environment in bedok =)

God showed me a beautiful passage of verses this morning,
during quiet time.

Hebrews 12: 4-6

4 In your struggle against sin,
you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

5 And you have forgotten
that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

its very encouraging to me, really,
to know that.

i think its lovely that God knows each of us personally,
and speaks to everyone in different ways.
to the musicians, He encourages through music,
to the artists, the beauty of creation,
to the scientists, the mystery of it,
and to the linguists, words.
words work oh-so-well with me.
and He knows that,
because He's my Father in Heaven =)
yay.
thank Him.

miffy chewed through the only pair of earphones that i have,
and she ate abt half the 2nd page of my marketing text.
roars.

yesterday.
i love yesterday =)
charcoal grill, steamboat and a lot of talking with slk.






the food was more than lovely,
probably cos' the company was good =)
and cos' twinie peeled all my prawns for me =)

once our tummies were happy,
we got to talking,
from racism to psychology to relationships to the galaxy...
if the restaurant's open 24/7,
we might still be there right now,
talking abt the bemuda triangle =S
or some other way off topic.

it was wonderful,
the sharing of thoughts and perspectives.
i cant do that so freely with just anybody.
thank God for slk =)

and thank you all too girls,
for sharing,
for making me want to share,
and for lisening when i do share =)

and rahel,
im so proud of you.
for the courage to walk away from all the mess.

this weekend
is one mad rush.

amy's wedding,
band practice,
church service,
waiyin and jiayan's bday celeb,
a bit of sleep,
cgl bible study, which i had to miss due to a pounding headache,
fun fac outing recee at west coast,
geok's bday prep,
geok's bday,
and now, finally.
i can breathe again.

feet is still hurting from all the heel-wearing though.
and head is back to pounding.
roars.

but thank God for the many happy events that happened =)
amy's wedding especially.
such a joyous occasion! =D

and happy birthday to lizi, waiyin, geok and jiayan! =)

service this week was very refreshing.
the verses preached really spoke to me,

Psalm 139 : 13-18
" 13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to [a] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you."

Even when i was still in my mother's womb,
He saw me and He knew me.
When I awake,
I am still with Him,
never abandoned, never given less attention, never less loved.

i like this passage,
i think its marvellous.
killed all insecurities in Little Miss Insecured.

and i love God.
He is marvellous.

very dusty in here =S
had been a tad too busy to blog.

chalet and shopping spreeee with my lovely family yesterday =)
it was wonderful.
thank God for my family.

and thank you pemers,
for the supersampler.
i love it very much =)
spent the first roll of film experimenting.
got them developed today,
and here are some of the pretty ones:







there were some really bad ones taken though.
someday i'll get a whole roll of pretty lomo pics okays.
maybe the 34984th roll.
sobs.
it aint easy without an LCD screen.
