took a philosophical stroll down memory lane with rahel darling,
over a yummy dinner =)
the conversation awakened my love for songs which i have forgotten abt,
the old cheesy chinese songs that we listen to
before spice girls conquered the world.
ancient and cheena as they are,
they nv fail to strike a chord everytime they play. =)
havent had a talk quite like today's for the longest time ever,
so thank you rahel!

the sanfu people just came =)
and because of their presense,
i had a good talk with my brother regarding our faith.
thank God so so so so so so so much.

oh and they shared the gospel to my bro-in-law! =)
but all in God's timing yes?

slept at 4 last night,
and woke up at 9 this morning
to get sth at church.
i didnt get it. *sob*
gotta go back again next sunday morning!
*kicks and whines*

headed for a very encouraging lesson of bcl after that,
with a wonderful co-mentor and equally wonderful mentees =)
and then a long long long rebonding session with geline darling~
the salon people gave us free treatments,
so now we've got pretty silky hair!
whee!

then dinner,
then to huey's to choose the song for the angels to sing coming sept.
her piano pieces made me extremely drowsy.
(thats a compliment okays~!)

but before i go to bed,
i have to blog
abt the wonderful news twinie just told me.

on second thoughts.
lets just say thank God thank God thank God~!
and leave it at that. =)

happy happy holidays so far =)
im a happy little girl~ =D
a little too happy, in fact.
no $ already. =(
im learning to spend within what i have okays,

yes happy holidays~

a wonderful sunday -
which i have already mentioned =)

an alright monday -
nothing very exciting, nothing bad either!

a happy happy tuesday -
lunch with jean,
dinner and laughter with slk,
and sleepover at geline's~
(yes, she's back!)

an equally happy wednesday -
a long-awaited girls' talk,
a goodie bag all the way from LA,
(I LOVE GOODIE BAGS.)
and dinner, as always =)

and today!
a very very happy day too~ =)
a good day,
as rahel calls it.
rocky's, games and esplanade with my darlings.

oh and i walked one of twinie's doggies!
shasha the collie =)
she's oh so pretty!
went up to twin's place to see the rest of them.
(she has many many dogs.)
the first time i played with a golden retriever~
he's gorgeous too! =D
i adore big dogs,
the bigger the better.
but i love lele still okays.
=D

hungry.
very hungry.
sobs.

home alone again,
unless you count my faithful rabbit,
who happens to be the best rabbit in the world. =D

oh, i didnt tell you abt how my rabbit's the best did i?
well,
we let miffy out of her cage once everyday
so that she can roam ard and play =)
so, one day,
she came out and refused to go back into her cage.
we needed to get her back in before matt comes back from school,
because matt gets extremely excited when miffy is out,
and we fear he might jump on miffy by accident or sth =(
and so, feeling extremely flustered,
i tried to carry the poor rabbit,
who doesnt like to be lifted off the ground.
she struggled,
slipped through my fingers,
and fell pretty hard on the carpet =(
and her claw broke.
i felt extremely bad after that,
and just sort of sat and stoned.
and my darling rabbit,
as though she could see that i felt bad,
and wanted to tell me its okay,
came to sit by my feet.
for a long long time.
she had all the space to run ard,
but she just sat there beside me.
for the longest time.
=')

that's how she's the best rabbit in the world.

movieee with shiqi and rahel this afternoon~
one of the rare movies that made me cry truckloads.
tsk, stop sniggering.
i hardly ever cry over movies now!
not even for 200 pounds beauty which practically everyone cried over.
i think that was extremely overrated.
but the one we watched today,
the complexity of emotions
captured so fully within a seemingly simple plot.
ahhhhhhhh.
so so good.

received a letter from rahel through snail mail
the day before the last exam.

its very nice to receive letters.
esp at times when life's a mad rush.
technology makes it even rushier (if there's such a word),
while the old pen-and-paper message stops you in your tracks,
and recharges you with the love hidden within the handwritten words,
which a friend had taken precious time to pen down =)

thank you dear friend =)
for every word you've written.
i appreciate it very much!

have been spending much time
trying to understand every mass comm theory conceptualized
by theorists who spent their whole life conducting experiments.

that's their idea of fun.

they sure have wierd ideas abt having fun.

i like to think that im suffering.
but compared to what Christ went through,
life now is really a breeze.
a more recent example would be the christians captured by taliban.
i cannot imagine being in their shoes.
the shadow of death looming right above their heads.

may the Lord's peace be with them.
