It is so easy to forget that I have this blogg. I'll try to post more often, I still make cards so why not show you what I do.
This card -i made for my mother in law the other day. It was made in just one hour, if I have had more time I guess it would be looking a bit different..
This card I send to the North Star Stamps februay challenge; "Congratulation" - woops, I thought I was to do this but it seems my stamp was not from here... So I have to create a new card for this challenge..
I have used some paper from Pion and flowers from a basket I have here. since my mother in law are so into pink I have tried to have that as a main colour together with brown..
The butterflies comes from a MS puncher, ant the letters i did most myself with a penn, some glue and glitter from MS. + some leftover ribbons..
(my god, it has been a long time since i have thought of what i have used to make this cards... I'll do better in the future) The inside i made very simple, i used a napkin to cover the paper, a ribbon and a text stamp from North Star Stamps.

Christmas card
This year I started making the christmas card in the middle of July - maybe a little early, but we had alot of rain for a week or so - I spent those days in front of my desk and this one came out one day.
To make th tree I have used an origami tecnique. I have used several paper from my left over bin..
Around the page one can find some charms, defferent letters and tons of glitter (cause I think that belong to the christmas holliday - + all other seasons).
Inside my card, I used the same base as the front red and green Bazzil, + I made a small tree, some charms and I used a edge punch from MS to trim the top, so it could look like christmas trees.
I will partisipate in some christmas challengeswith this card fing out more about them: one here and this one . I hope you all like the way some of the cards from me will look this year.

Kjære konfirmant
This card is made for a christian ceremony. some of you who have been around for a while can see that I have used some of my TOP favourite papers here. I talk about the Basic Grey "Romani" papers.
BG also have my absolut nr 1 favourite paper of all time "Lollipop shoppe". I was so lucky to get my hand of 25 of this papers a few years ago, and I know it is not possible to get more so this papers have their own little space in my scrapbooking room, where no one are to be let in...
Well, back to this card.
- as my base I have used blue, pink and aqua Bazzil
- The lace I bought on a gathers from scrapbookersa few yrs ago and the golden trimmed lace I got from bakeshop
- I have used lots and lots of charms that I have filled with glitter glue (aqua)
- The K letter I made myself with glitter and glue.
- from a hat pin I made this little rose creation in the right corner.
- the letter are a mix that got a little wrap in clear glue.
I made the inside in the same papers, and added an little envelope where the giver can place his or hers gift to the receiver. If you look closely to the tag you can see a little piece of my all time favourite number one paper from BG!!! you can see it in this picture below.. I have tried to spot out the one!!

En hilsen fra hjertet
I made this "flip" card with the stamp "en hilsen fra hjertet" from heartfelt design , in english it would be something like "greetings from the heart".
I have used:
- glitter paper from panduro, this was something i got for christmas a few years ago, so I have no idea what serie it is from or who has designed it.
- the butterflies I made from one of the edge punches from MS
- the golden lace are from bakeshop
- different charms
- the little golden heart is a sticker
For the base -i have used a pink Bazzil.
There is different ribbons here, some silk, organza, lace and a golden metal thread.
When the card is folded in one can only ready "gratulerer" (congratulation), and when flipped one can read "med dagen" (on your day). I love this folded cards and are going to make or them..
I will compete in a challenge with this card. You can look more to it here.
Thanks for looking into my world today!!

Thanks for helping out
One of my best friends has lived with me for a week or so, she needed someone to look after her after an opperation - and she choosen to stay with me. Back home where she lives she has one dog and one cat. she wanted me to create a card to say thanks for helping out for the Grandma who took such good care of her dog. This grandma is very into gardening, so I thought I could use some autumn colous for her.
I wanted this to be more than a regular card (cause I know this Grandma?) So I made it like a tiny book. It only has 5 pages so I am not realy sure I can call it a book..
I took a deep dive into my "left over" bin to create this one, so I am not sure on what everything is or was.. But I love the ressault.
- There are different Bazzils in red / orange/ yellow tones.
- tons of ribbons, same colours as the Bazzils.
- I think the design paper with the cirkles might have come from Scenic route Paper
- the glitter letters I have made myself useing glue and glitter fra Martha Stewart
- i have different types of charms and lots of letf of letters from all kinds of designers.
- for the tags I used a corner punch from MS
- the red "mask" looking thing, I belive that use to be something I used as a table decoration on some party once. but now it has gotten a new life up in my scrapbooking room.
- the orange plastic tag, I have absolutely no idea what it is. I found it in one of those bags in the left over bin. In here I think it found itself a new home.
Hopefully you like my 5 pages "thansk for helping out card". My friend liked it and that's what matters. I will compete in two chalenges with this card. It is this and that.

confirmation card for twins

As always I have used pleny of everything and inspired of Ronda, I have tried to use some of my old treasures.
On the first page I have several kinds of ribbon, some Prima flowers, a picture of some rose's Tom gave me the other day, gold charms and different letters.
Since the challenge is 3D, I have tried to make layers onto layers..
This card is also into:
ABC challenge "U is for".
Cute card thursday "someone special"
Sir stampalot challenge "butterflies and blossom"

There were so many things I wanted this card to have so I had to make it like a tiny album. Inside the card I sewed one more card, so on first side our blessing will come, next 3 pages are a poem my mother got for her confirmation that I think express the confirmation feeling very well. Here I have used the new collection from Heartdesign as basic. Their paper goes all the way thru the card, on all pages. Here again i have layers og paper and ribbons, butterflies ++

On the last pages I have a tag + a heart button and a little paper rose, on the other side I made a envelope to put the money she will resive as the present. This one I have decorated with several ribbons, flowers, rubons ++

On Frits's card I have used paper from Maja Design, the collection "du och jag". Here 2 I have layers and layers of papers, some metall gitter, buttons, a football picture (since all he thinks of is football), some ribbons, letters and a poem.

I have always thought is it more difficult to make cards for boys than girls (wonder why, when u see what colours I normaly use... LOL).
So in here I have one the first page, made an envelope for the money present, some text, different flowers, ribbons and several layers paper. I tried to use the same papers on the other side, but glued them on in a differet direction. Here I have my little handwritten on page 3 together with some flowers.

Always when I go to "treff" I meet Nina and she always challenge me to decorate all the 4 sides of a card. Here with Frits's card I tried to make the backside nice to. I have used the leftovers from the panels I made + some buttons, same as the front page + my visitcard, that I place on all cards I make (so people know where to find me incase they want to order a card in the future..)

Have a nice celebration everyone!!!

This card I made for Morten, who has birthday today. This is for "sukkersøtt's" challenge, to make a birthday card.
Later tonight this will no longer be mine..
This card is what I call "dorull kort", I am nor sure what a dorull is in english, but hopefully u understand what is is when u see the card.
I have used different papers from Heartdesign, Bazzil, Maja + some others. Different ribbons, yarn, roses from Storeteller and Prima. RubOns and thickers. On the tag-top I edge punched it with the butterfly punch from Martha Stewart + some ribbons (organza and silk). All the paper pieces I have distressed with brown cat eye..
Hopefully he like my spring-pastel inspired card..
Have a great weekend e1. In Oslo the temerature is great and sunny so most of the weekend will be spent in the garden.

Simon says CELEBRATIONS

For the very first time I will join the Simon Says Challenge, with this card.
In Norway, (where I live), when u are around 14 year u go thru a Christian seremony, and u invite all your family, neighbours and frends to celebrate this with u. Up here we call this for "Konfirmasjon", probably u have this all around the world..
This card I made for Charlotte who has her seremoni in a few weeks.
This card I think is the card I am most satisfied with ever (as I kind of think, for every card i make lol).
I belive this card is called a "trifold card".
As always I have plenty of details on my cards. On this flip, I have used the same sort of ribbon but in two ways. On the uppser side I glued it between the papers and below I glued it on top. To cover the point where they meet I have glued a rose from storyteller, paited with yellow Shimmerz.

Under the flip I used some lacy ribbons that I used some purple ink on, to get a contrast to the pink and blue inside. Around the card I have used a light brown organza and a pink silk ribbon.
On the paper stock I have a piece of blue and pink Bazzil, some rose paper I found in the trashbin, and some leftovers from a Hambly sheet. The picture I have trimmed, distressed and crakeld.

This is a very fun card to make. As u see on this picture, the first squere is made so i can put the cover between them, to hold the card together. When u open the flap and the left "corner flap", there is a new panel, same size as in front. This one I have coverd with different flowers from storyteller, + some i cut out from QK and some other flower I cant remeber where I got from. There is also the same pink silk ribbon that I used on the front side.

Here u see the mid panel, after I sprayed it with some glitter mist - look alike, gold type..

When u open all the flaps u come to the inside of the card where my text will show up. I have used the butterfly edge puncher from Martha Stewart on the side + I cutted out some blue ones and glued on. Both on the top and on the tiny little pink silk ribbon piece u see in right corner.
the paper I have used for this project is "blue Damask" from heartfelt design. To distress all the edges I have used cream and bronze cat eye.

I hope u enjoyed looking at this card as much as I had lots of fun making it!!!

me + vintage = ?

The other day I found a new vintage challenge blog, and I thought that was a nice excuse to make a dive into this direction. I have never made anything with this kind of pictures, and I am not sure if what I have made can be called "vintage cards" - but I did my best and liked the ressault (atleast the 2 I present here.. )
The challenge was to make a card or something else using the picture u see over. Here are my 2 cards for this callenge:

In both cards I have used paper from Heartfelt Design, some charms and different ribbons. Both stamps are from Papir i hjertet. The flowers I have painted with Shimmerz (candle light). I have distressed all edges and corners. the lacy ribbons I made coffee colour with my espresso (Yes - it was worth it) since I didn't have any in this colour. The butterflies in the last one are from Martha Stewart's edge punch.
In my atempt tp make the pictures even older, I folded them and used some rubbing paper on the fold, and edges. I used a painters knife to get out more of the inc - hopeing to give the impression that this picture has been lying around for ages, and not just 10 minutes..
Hopefully u liked my first atempt at vintage scrapbooking, it will not be the last!!

Some new cards
It's been some weeks ago since I had the time to show u what I've done in my scrapbooking room lately. But since this is a rainy day, I woke up and thought this is the day!!
A few weeks ago I got my ScoreBoard from Martha Stewart. And finaly I could very easy make this cute little box'es. Here I post one I made for Jannicke "vår klem (Spring hug)".
I have also used martha stewart's edge punches "butterfly" together with Papir i hjerte's new paper collection.
Under here I used the butterfly punch from MS. I cutt'ed out some of the "flies" and glued them to the egde to make a more 3D effect..
This box is 6x6". Around the box i have several layers of ribbons, both organza and silk. The roses i have painted with Shimmerz glittermaling also from Papir i hjertet (my favourite store here in Norway). This days they are on sale here, so "LØP Å KJØP" is my tip of the day.

I have also used martha stewart's edge punches "butterfly" together with Papir i hjerte's new paper collection.

This card I made for an alternativ christian, more like a "name-day"-kind of. I used Papir i hjerte's own papers. Thay are just so lovely!!!
Here is some of the other cards I have made, they are just a ressault of happy thinking and lovely colours.

If any of u norwegian reades need a card, my cards are for sale. either some u see here, or u can contact me if u need a special card.

How to make "the never ending card"

At first sight, the never ending card, looks like every other cards. but if u look a little closer u see there are different panels u can flip and turn over. This card give 4 sides u can decorate.
I will here try to show u how to make this card.
Under evey picture, just look at the number and i'll explain.
b+c) Score down at the center 1.5" vertical, and horisontal each 4 ends at 1.5" Use the bone folder to get realy crisp scores.
d) butt 2 pieces together having center score line going tohetger, vertical (up and down)
2-4) remaining 2 pieces center line will be horizontal. Make sure they pit perfect together.

8) Now fold the center to the left and the outside are to go back under it.

11) the center line will go up, and the putline will go back and under again
12) here u see it from the side, how the folding are to be.
The folding is now done. When u now are to flip the card, u can do it from this side. Just open any center line that shows up in u're new side and u'll see u can go on for ever...
the never ending card.
When u are to decorate this card. Do that after u are done glue it and fold it together. U'll see that on one of the sides (number 3) some of the decoration from side 2 will also be on side 3.

Here i stick the last paper piece to the card, before i start decorating this pieces.

Now good luck to u. would be fine if someone made it and posted a link to their blog with the ressault. This is realy a funny card to make, and also very easy. The first card i ever made took me about 25 minutes to cut, glue and fold. then off curse a long time to decorate, but that is just funny.
Below u see the 4 sides.
I made this a birthday card, to one of my good scrapbooking friends

Take care and good luck!!
