As our Memories fade Away

Is feb now. Anyway happy new year everyone.
Finally is the new semester and i am done with my 1st placement. it was a good one. I thought I have matured and grown up. When saying goodbye to 2 of my patients today, I just cry. Is not just tear.. really sobbing.. trying so hard to hold it back but i cant.. maybe they really make me rmb my ah gong. coz is an elderly rehab ward. i have work with them for almost a month. see their ups and downs. i really she bu de.. i think i made one of my patient emo too.. really sorry about it. but i hope he really get well soon.
sometimes i realise my memory of my ah gong stopped at the time before i left. sometimes i feel that he is still at nursing home, just that i havent visited him for a long time.. i feel that i can still just see him agn.. but when i fit in the memory of me attending his funeral, everything suddenly seems so clear that he is really gone. somehow i miss him a lot. i heard of a saying that we shd let go of the attachments we have for the dead so that they can leave in peace. I think i shd. just hope that he is in a better place.
tonight i need to tell myself miracles do happen. if i believe in it, believe hard in it and try hard, it will eventually happen. it will happen peigin. it will.
