This is what I do...

So I know most of you probably don't care to see the projects I do UNLESS they are on the cutest little model in the world...BUT since 1) she is sleeping right now, and 2) I made some of them for her when she is about a year old, I don't think that will work. And you know I couldn't wait that long to show anybody :). So here they are!
There are a couple things I must tell you about this shirt. 1) it is made from the EXACT same fabric as an apron my mom made for me. 2) I still need to attach a button so it isn't quite finished, like many of these projects. And 3) I absolutely love how it turned out.
These are from the same pattern and are made specifically to match the shirt, it even has pink topstiching...I love them.
These are a long time coming...They were supposed to be finished well before Addie was born. I bound a changing pad in the same fabric I covered my wipes case with. And for the wipes case I wanted to have access to the pop up thing in the center so I made it differently than those sold in stores or shown in tutorials, special :). I love them.
OK...Probably my favorite thing I have finished...Mr. Potato Head!!! Tada! Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype now has a family!! Mrs. Potato Head^^ AND...
Mr. Potato Head^^ hehe I love Mrs. Potato Head's Eyelashes!!

This is a dress I made Addie quite a while ago, but (again with the lists...) 1) It is something I made, and 2) there now you can be interested in this post at least a little bit :).
hehe cute!
Don't you just love her?! I sure do!
OK, one more...I am actually kind of embarrassed about this one...I don't know if any of you recognize the fabric or not. It is the same fabric I used for my carseat canopy thing...good thing I made it big enough that she will wear it in the summer and we won't need the canopy then...It is still really cute though :).

Toesies

Now what kind of strange person blogs about their own feet...me, I guess. Just kidding!
That is a picture of my feet but I only post it to lead into telling you I have finally done something that I have been waiting to do since Addie was born...to paint her toe nails!! hehe
Look how excited she is to be hanging out with the coolest person in the world...'Wait...I think I hear [Addie] wanting something....ME!' haha name that movie?! Anyways, it wasn't nearly as easy as I hoped *wishful thinking*, but the end result is soooo satisfying.
This had to be done, and how cute do her chubby little ankles look crossed?! When you paint your toenails you feel so much more feminine...at least I do I pretty much wear sweats all day right now, I know I'm terrible.
These pictures are just because she is sooo cute, and I can't help taking tons of pictures of her. Yes, I put lipstick on just so I could kiss her on the cheek...AND take a picture of her...that was the goal.

Cute, cute girl! :)

Valentines/Part 3: Lady in Red

What colors are more appropriate for Valentines Day than pink and red...and we have them both in the most adorable little dress for Addie! Just look at that sweet little outfit! Don't mind the ribbon on her head...It was in my hair, and since it matched her dress maybe it would work? And she has a huge scratch on her nose, it's frustrating how fast her nails grow.

She didn't feel like smiling for the camera that day :( I think she was just tired. And I don't know about anyone else, but that heart in her headband is so cute to me.
Oh, and my beautiful Mother came to visit us this weekend! Two pretty girlies. We had lots of fun, it was a beautiful weekend, and it was made even better without the snow!

The Death of a 'Potato'

The Victim: Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype
The Suspect: Addison Packard (AKA-The Potato Masher)
At 0500 hours Addie The Potato Masher was spotted conversing politely with a new friend of hers. They met at a local park, Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype was new to town and was grateful for the friendly company. Little did he know of Addie The Potato Mashers record for salivating profusely over soft tasty new toys. They were initially introduced by The Godmother (AKA Mommy) she had just brought Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype into town and was looking for someone to provide a good home for him to stay. Unfortunately for all parties Addie The Potato Masher was on the prowl. According to unnamed sources Addie The Potato Masher grabbed for Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype and proceeded to chew and salivate on his head. One of these sources was able to catch the culprit in the act, rendering extensive questioning unnecessary.
Addie The Potato Masher has been sentenced to two week community service consisting of, but not limited to: smiling profusely, giggling continuously, squealing loudly, and babbling adorably.
Although Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype is worse for the wear, Addie and he are still to remain close friends, especially during church. He is a good influence on her in helping her to remain quiet during church, and helping her fulfill her sentencing.
Poor Mr. Potato Head Jr. Prototype...he will serve a great purpose.
I created this little guy with inspiration from the Make It and Love It craft blog. He is becoming a quick favorite (at least on my part), and will soon have a papa Mr. Potato Head to complete the collection.

Part 2: Ever Since I Can Remember

This is titled as above "Ever Since I Can Remember" Listen to the song "Even since I can remember I've been popping my collar..." while you read this post.

"Oh, hey I can dig this song."
"I'm pretty hot stuff here."
"Don't mess with the shirt mommy-o"
"What kind of hoppin' dance can I do?"
"Nah, I'll just stand here and look sooo cute. ;)"
"Waaaaatah...(What's a Ninja's favorite drink? hahahah)"
"Ok, now I think I'm sick of the photo shoot..."
"Alright, just for you. I'll smile one more time."

Part 1: I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

This is the beginning of a series where Addie wears something that correlates to a song lyrics/sometimes a poem. We call this 'I Wear My Sunglasses At Night.'

"I totally rock these!"
"Lookin' good Daddy."
"I'm too cool."

"'Sup dawg?"

By the way if you have any suggestions for adorable pictures of Addie feel free to leave them in the comments box! I've made some fun ones already, but maybe you have better ideas.

Bath TUB Time!

So this was a week to remember. I finally took the initiative and gave Addie solid food, that was an experience to remember, and I gave her her first bath IN the bath TUB! hehe It was so cute I am pretty sure she loved it. There is one thing you should know...I am obsessed with how adorable my baby's bottom is...it. is. to. die. for! haha So bare with me! Pardon the terrible pun.

I usually provide an extra washcloth that she can suck on. mmm tasty water...

This picture says Alfalfa to me.
What a perfect ending...hehe. Sooo cute.

The Video

Here is a video I took of her eating baby food for the first time. It's a crack up!

YUCKY!

Yesterday was the beginning of the end of Addie's baby years. We fed her cereal for the first time yesterday, let me tell you it was quite the experience. She hated it all...from the sweet potatoes to the cereal. Well, let's just let the pictures speak for themselves...

She ended up gagging a little bit after some of the bites...:(

This picture is perfect...it really shows just how much she wanted to eat that 'delicious' food.

Soooo, cute!! haha

Just so you know, since this was the first time I had ever fixed baby rice cereal I didn't know what the consistency should be...let's just say it was too thick, and now that I have learned better she seems to have warmed up to the new food very well...although I do believe she still cringes everytime I pull out her spoon and bowl. Sad day.
