Part of the Pack

Look for the pink shoes :) Our first experience with organized sports!!! WOO HOO! We loved having Addie play soccer and even though the strategy was stick with the pack and try to kick the ball; it was great. I enjoyed myself immensely. There will most assuredly be more soccer in our future.

BYU Women's Basketball

We had a blast at this game with Sarah...we sure are missing her right now. Honestly all I can remember is Kiera had to go potty....1110564657645 gazillion times so...I went up and down those crazy stairs that many times...while very pregnant. Otherwise we had tons of fun! :)

'Take her to the zoo!'

What else...? FREE day at the zoo. Love those days :) Bring on the larger than average crowds! I remember the girls being so sweet with each other and loving all the animals...and hating all the walking. Hence, the lap sitting by the end of the zoo trip.

Valentines Hair 2014!

So I'm pretty sure my favorite hair styles are little hearts in on my girls wee heads. Also, I thoroughly enjoy the creation process as well. Addie's hair takes about 10-15 mins, and Kiera's 5 min. Love, Love, Love!

Christmas 2013

I think we've gone to temple square every year since we began dating...yep pretty sure. I can't help but love the cold air and the warm spirit you feel when you tour the temple grounds. The lights are spectacular, the displays endearing, and the post hot cocoa delicious. Because let's be honest, cocoa is definitely part of the experience. I am a cocoa addict and I'm not afraid to drink a cup even in the middle of summer.

 Family photos via a stranger never work out for me...even though she had her own DSLR super camera she couldn't get a centered decently lit photo all in one...oh well. We're still good lookin'. I love that our girls want to see 'Jesus' every time we go to temple square. Addie requests the visit each and every time.

Halloween 2013!

 This was a fun Halloween. The girls (mostly Addie) loved trunk or treating, dressing up, and carving pumpkins! Do you want to know the real bummer though?! I DIDN'T GET A SINGLE PICTURE OF THEM IN THEIR COSTUMES!!!! AH! And honestly Kiera just dressed up as Minnie Mouse, but she was a stinking cute Minnie Mouse (Addie's costume 2 yrs ago). BUT seriously Addie's costume needed to be documented. She chose to be Merida this year and that costume was a labor of love. I even made a yarn wig for her. Oh well. The pumpkin is cute?! Right?! I let the girls (AKA Addie) pick a simple Halloween character and designed a simple cut out for our pumpkin. Ta Da! I love our little Packard Ghost buddy. He's made even more adorable with my two little pumpkin pies as his companions.

 Come on, Kiera just cracks me up!

She sure was a proud pumpkin carving helper. Sure she only traced the pattern and scooped the guts...but that's a big thing for a just 4 year old! I loved her face when she touched the slimy innards of the pumpkin, she was both appalled and fascinated at the same time.

A Day at the Beach and a Science Center

Honestly I don't remember much from this trip...it's all muddled with our more current vacations to C-bad. BUT I know we had fun!

 Kiera's personality just kills me. She is such a ham! I love her smiles and her playfulness.

 There were some cool displays at the Science Museum, but I think my girls were still a bit too young to fully enjoy any of the exhibits. There were a few that were hits including the disco lights (above), the building blocks (below), and some of the more hands on activities. The market area and the ball tubes...I don't know how else to describe them...they were by far the winner of the day for my girls.

Haha I just remember saying 'Don't knock it over yet Kiera!' We did have the pleasure of the demolition once we were don't documenting our achievement, and I have to say that may have been my favorite part. I thought I had some sort of picture of that, but I guess not. :( This concludes our awesome trip to CA.
