Enjoying Oudoors cards set - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec un nouveau set de cartes réalisées avec la nouvelle collection « Enjoying Outdoors ».

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new set of cards made with the new collection "Enjoying Outdoors".

J'ai gardé les cartes simples.

J'ai découpé un motif dans des faux-unis de la collection (Colorful et Spending Time), usé les bords avant de les coller sur la base.

I kept the cards simple.
I die-cut a design in semi-plain papers ("Colourful" and "Spending Time"), distressed the edge before gluing them to the card's base.

J'ai découpé les roses dans « Scent of Lavender » et encré les bords. Les petites fleurs ont été découpées dans une chute de papier et les feuilles dans « Woodland » et « Beautiful trees »

I die-cut the roses in the "Scent of Lavender" paper and ink the edge, the smaller flowers were die-cut in an left-over paper and the leaves in"Woodland" and "Beautiful trees".

J'ai collé les divers éléments avec du gel 3D mat. Pour terminer la carte, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et des tâches de gesso dilué.

I glued the different elements with 3D Matte Gel. To finish the card, I added microbeads and splatters of watered gesso.

Même travail sur cette carte, mais j'ai utilisé des fleurs achetées.

Same work for this card, but I used some manufactured flowers.

Je ne sais pas si vous aviez déjà remarque qu'au bas de chaque feuille de papier de Maja Design, il y a une frise avec soit du texte, soit un motif. Ces frises sont parfaites pour ajouter un titre ou autre à vos projets. Le texte ici est au bas de « Picking Flowers ».

I don't know if you have notice that at the bottom of each sheet of Maja Design paper, there is a border with some text or just a drawing. This borders are perfect to add a title or a decorative element to your projects. The sentiment here came from the "Picking Flowers" paper.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec photo de ma grand-mère maternel prise au début des années 60.

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog with a photo of my maternal grandmother taken at the beginning of the 60's.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec un couche de gesso transparent. J'ai ensuite collé des morceaux de papier assortis pour donner de la texture et que j'ai légèrement recouvert de gesso. J'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide de pâte de texture et d'un pochoir.

I began to protect the background with a layer of clear gesso. Then I glued different assorted papers to give some texture and I covered them partially with a thin layer of gesso. I added a design with a stencil and light modeling paste.

J'ai recouvert les morceaux de chipboards d'une couche de gesso transparent avant de les colorer avec des Mica Powder et des Twinkling H2O.

I covered the pieces of chipboard with a layer of clear gesso before coloring them with Mica Powder and Twinkling H2O.

J'ai découpé les feuilles dans un papier assorti et je les ai ombré avec une encre Distress. J'ai coloré les fleurs et les herbes avec des Mica Powder et des Twinkling H2O.

I cut the leaves in a assorted paper and I shaded them with a Distress Ink. I colored the flowers and then herbs  with some Mica Powder and Twinkling H2O.  

J'ai terminé la mise en page avec quelques tamponnages, des microbilles et des glass glitters.

I finished the layout with some random stamping, some microbeads as well as some Glass Glitters.
