Our Founding Fathers made many sacrifices in creating and signing the Constitution.  Their intent was to protect our liberties and they took great care in creating our government in a way that would support and honor the Constitution. It is disheartening to see the the checks and balances system, created to ensure that no individual or group has too much power, be disregarded by so many in power.

My heart aches for all of those who lost loved ones in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting. We should feel safe sending our children off to school each morning. 

 

 What can we do to make sure this never happens again?
