New PJ's

While they were in town, my parents got Parker and Autumn some new pajamas. Parker and Autumn both wanted to put them on right away and wore them for the rest of the day (including a trip to lunch and the grocery store) . Since then, we have had a few tantrums over the pajamas. Parker cried (for quite a while) when he was informed that his new PJ's were dirty and he couldn't wear them. Autumn had a tantrum when I had to change her out of her new PJ's the next morning. She literally cried for at least 10 minutes standing by the dirty clothes basket (where I had put the pajamas). That night when I told her that it was time time to get jammies on, she ran straight for the washer and pointed up at the dirty clothes basket. I didn't even try to talk her into clean jammies, I just took the dirty ones out of the basket and put them on her. (I still have to hide them from her, or she wants to put them on as soon as she sees them.) Needless to say, they LOVE their new PJ's!

The past month or so...

Things are going good for us here in Provo. We are enjoying our little ones as we prepare for a new little one and continue the job search. Here is what we have been up to this past month:
  • My brother, Andrew, and his wife, Trena, were in town. Parker and Jordan had a sleepover. They have a lot of fun together. Andrew and Trena are moving to Provo, but most likely we will be leaving soon. We will enjoy the time that we are here together though.
  • A field trip to Krispy Kreme. Parker just had to show Dad the 'doughnut factory,' so they went again the next morning.
  • Autumn figured out how to open the big cupboard and get herself some cereal. (There is constantly cereal on our floor now.) But she is just so cute!
  • Parker and Autumn snacking together.
  • A warm day, so we headed outside. It is soooo nice to get outside after what seemed like a long winter!
  • Hanging out with Dad. Paul has done so much in the past few months. Between school and work and his calling, he is searching for a job full time. Somehow, he made time to help me with dishes and laundry and dinner and watching the kids, while I have been not feeling 100%. Luckily, I am now feeling good and can resume my normal routine.
  • Parker and Autumn showing off their Valentine Cards from the Hae Hae's. They both loved them and carried them around for days.
  • We made a quick trip to western Nevada for some interviews for Paul. It was quite a quick trip. We drove about 18 hours in a 30 hour window. Most of it was during the night, so the kids did surprisingly well in the car. It was the hotel that did us in. The kids had slept in the car for quite a while when we stopped for the night, so they were wide awake when Paul and I were both beyond tired. Somehow we survived and had a fun trip.
  • My parents flew in from California. Parker had fun playing with Grandpa and showing off all of his tricks. Autumn had enough time to warm up and was giving hugs when they left. It was fun to have them here.
  • We celebrated our nephew Lukas' first bitrhday with my brother, Mark, and his family.
(We took some balloons home to play with.)
  • Just some cute pics of Autumn.
