Crystal Star - D-4 was paperpieced, handpieced and appliqué.
17 pieces.

It seems to work best for me to paperpiece into units and then handpiece the units together.

It has really been very hot here in Lux for the past weeks,

But this morning it was a bit coolish.

Well tonight I can post two blocks.

They were easy to do and I enjoyed the paper piecing,

 - not so much picking out the small pieces of paper, though.
