Ribbon & Pearls at the Belli Challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone,

We've a new challenge starting today at the Belli Challenge and the theme is Ribbon & Pearls. You are encouraged to use your old and forgotten items so dig thru your stash...I'm sure you can find some treasures.

My card share is a commissioned card I made for a special birthday.  No colouring on this one...lots of die cutting and embossing.   I used a forgotten favourite, JustRite Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty stamp, embossed it using Rangers Seafoam White embossing powder and cut it using SB Labels Twenty die on the center panel under the sentiment.  The sentiment is a freebie that the wonderful Annette has on her site and it can be found here. Thank you Sue for posting this on your blog...I had forgotten where I got mine from.  I found the heart pearl in my stash.  Lace, pearl ribbon and flower are from WOC.  Magnolia tag used once again and had a little play with shabby pink Fran-tage.

The ovals are Marianne Dies LR0240.  Silk ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store
SB Decorative Labels One used on the inside.  Card was cut using SB Grand Decorative Labels One.

I'll be back later today...with a little surprise that I'm late reporting :)

Entering the following challenges:
LEJ Designs Challenge - Lots of Layers
Parade your Crafts #4 - All About Birthdays

Thanks so much for stopping by.

DT Card for Totally Papercrafts Challenge #183

Hi everyone, and happy Friday. It's been so much cooler here this week. I do love the sunny days and cool nights of late summer.   I'm off to buy some fresh Niagara peaches at the farmers market later this morning....mmm they are so good this time of year.   Perhaps they will find their way into a pie this weekend.

**********************************************************************************

We've a new challenge starting at Totally Papercrafts and our lovely Cathy of (Kraftykookat) would like to see Red/Black plus the option of white.   Our fabulous sponsor this week is one of my favourites "Delicious Doodles".   I've used an adorable image by Teri called "Panda Love".

I've made a gatefold card for a change.  Image was coloured with Copics C9, C7, C5, C3, C1 and a small amount of 100.  I dry embossed the red paper with M-Bossabilities Decorative Fancy Tags Two embossing folder.  I found by placing the folder on top of the BigShot Platform, adding 1 pc. of cardstock for a shim, then placed one acrylic plate on top it worked for me.  I wasn't going to buy the raspberry spacer plate since I am nervous of using my 2nd Grand Calibur after the first one broke.  I keep it only for my GC dies.  The corners were made using an old ProvoCraft corner die and the medallion is SB Lattice die.  Card measures 6x6 in.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
4 Krafty Girlz Challenge #1 - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps and More - Anything Goes
Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog - Animals
Make it Monday #156

Hi everyone,  I hope you are all well and have enjoyed this last long weekend of the summer. We had  a lovely visit with our Son and his family on Sunday.  The boys had been asking to see us..I think they miss my cooking :D   They brought Tegan with them, their bull mastiff who starts crying as soon as the van stops in the driveway....she loves visiting us.  Could it be because I spoil her? ......

 ***************************************************************************************

Today starts a new challenge at Cards for Men and the theme is "Tags".   Since I'm rubbish at making  tags I decided to make a Christmas card and add tags to it.   This way I'm adding to my stash and lightening the load come November!

Our sponsor this week is Fresh Brewed Designs and I chose to use this Wonky Christmas Tree and coloured it with my copics.    The paper I used to print my digi was not Copic friendly and didn't blend the way I wanted...but it was the right base colour :D   I painted the circles using Gold Smooch.

                          Details:
DP: Déja Views The Sharon Ann Collection, Home for the Holidays ( a very old set)
