Hey everybody
Parul here.. This is my first post and I am gonna share with you a card which got really good response at my facebook page Parul Gupta Designs.
This is a 5" X 7" card. Since I wanted this card to look masculine, I chose Fabriano Elle Erre cardstock in verdone color (dark grey) as card base and stamped it with Hero Arts background stamp envelope pattern. I used black archival ink for that. Then I took a stripe of same card stock and stamped that masculine pattern from Technique Tuesday repeatedly.
Further I die cut two consecutive ovals from both grey and cielo (light blue) card stock and stamped the sentiment on blue colored oval with black ink. Both masculine pattern and sentiment are from technique Tuesday stamp named "Dad Rocks".
To give some color contrast I glued a blue stripe to the stamped grey stripe and then glued it to the card base. Finally I gave some dimension to the glued ovals by foam tape.
Here is the closeup of this card
I really liked the way card turned up. I am lovi'n it :) Thanks a lot for stopping by. I would really appreciate it if you provide your valuable feedback.
