And finally.........
.........I have just completed my final round in the challenge on the Just Bex forum. How proud am I?
That's all folks
Mirror, mirror on the wall..........
My groovy mirror has got dressed. Today it has decided to go floral, yesterday it was naked all day as you can see.
From this
To this. Unfortunately I have had to scan them as hubby has taken the camera to work. I will get him to take a photo of it for me to add tomorrow.
Take care.
That's better!

Running out of time
After yesterday's craft/wedding fayre I was shattered but I delivered my stationery order to a very happy but nervous bride to be who gets married on Saturday. I didn't do much after I got home except make my first ever ATCs. They are very amateurish but bright and fit (in my opinion) with the theme of summer. This is yet another challenge from the wonderful Bex I must get a move on as a couple of the challenges finish tomorrow night, one being to alter a mirror so this should be my next challenge.Today I made my first maze book. This was taken from the instructions here It was a lot more simple than I thought it would be.
I have even managed to make the little extra for the DCM
This weeks little extra is to use Black and ONE other colour only. We, the design team decided to be really nice to you all and allow shades of that one colour to make it really easy for you (and us...he..he...! (see aren't we nice to you ?).
This is one of my favourite colour combinations. I just love black and white. The blooms are from Sarah's Cards and Papermania and the papers are from a 6 x 6 paper pack from Dovecraft.
Happy crafting!

Challenge 4
If it's Sunday it must be.........
Challenge 2 was to make a fridge magnet. Above is the front and below is the back view, just so it can be seen to have a magnet on it!
I have also managed the DCM challenge today too. The brief was as follows:-
This week it's my turn (Jo) and I'm going to dare you to use bits and bobs from the office for your cards. It's been a while since I had a 'real' job - other than being a Mum and of course playing with bits of paper...Reminiscing... I would like you to make a card using some thing that you would normally find in an office environment. Such as... staples, paperclips, paper fasteners, file folders, library cards, hole punches, lined paper etc you get the drift.
And here is my card
And finally I have finished the stationery for one of the weddings I have in at the moment. I'm doing a wedding fayre tomorrow and the bride and groom to be are collecting it from there. The wedding is next Saturday and although we have been invited, hubby is working so we can't go. This is a small portion of their stationery
I must now go and sort the few final bits for tomorrow..................and try to alter a clock! LOL

Challenge 5
Challenge 1
Bex has just issued 10 challenges on her forum and this is my attempt at number 1. Papers are from the new Hopscotch Boy scrap pad by K & Co and Tutti Frutti collection from Craftwork Cards
Right, off now to try challenge 2.
Here's one I made earlier..........

I meant to blog yesterday about my wedding fayre on Sunday but I got so enthralled in my work (!) I forgot all about it. Then I thought I would do it yesterday evening.....................again I got so wrapped up in making cards, by the time I realised I hadn't blogged it was 11.35 pm so I went to bed.
I had a double table and as you can see on the table above I have quite a collection of tiaras and fascinators. The picture below shows my whole set up (with hubby's disco gear behind it!)
I managed to get the card made for the DCM challenge again. I think that is 3 in a row now!! The challenge this time was set by Tracie and this is what she said
For this weeks dare, I dare you to "start from scratch" I want to you design a card with NO purchased/pre-assembled embellishments - that means no blooms unless you cut them yourself, no buttons, brads etc etc. I guess how easy this is depends on your usual style
And here is my card. The flower is made from some freebie ribbons I got on the front of a magazine a while ago. It looks much nicer in real life because the scanner has flattened the flower!
I am really pleased with this next card. I think it is what is commonly known as simple but effective. The stamp is from The Stamp Boutique on ebay.
My final card for now features a cutie stamp which I had sent to me by a dear friend who was closing her online craft shop. The 'picture frame' is cut from the new wedding scrap pad by K & Co and the paw prints are another stamp from the Stamp Boutique.
Work beckons. I may be back later. bfn
