Sincere Thanks

Good Sunday morning all!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Rose Bed embossing folder.  I lightly inked around the edges with Shaded Lilac distress ink.  I sprayed it with spray glue then dusted it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz for a bit of bling.  Next I cut the Layered Garden Rose out of mauve and soft lavender card.  I inked the base flowers with Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves Distress inks.  I assembled the two large flowers and the bud, then cut the leaves and stems in two shades of green card.  I assembled the flowers and stems and added them to the card.  I cut the Sincere Thanks sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing die and attached it below the rose.   I used some clear water crystals added to the background randomly as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/2"  in size.

All for now, Sue x

For You

Hello there my crafty friends!   I started with a piece of teal card for the background.  I used the centre die from the Art Deco Ornate Tile to cut into the middle of the teal card.  I cut another one out of antique gold card and added it as a shadow behind the teal card. I backed the entire piece with a piece of ocean card.   I cut the Elegant Fanfare die out of Antique Gold card twice.  I cut the die on the sides of the corner so that I was able to reassemble the corners into a larger square shape.  I cut the middle die out of the Ornate Tile in antique gold and layered it onto the middle of the card.  I cut the For You out of Ocean and Teal card.  I used the teal card as a shadow behind the ocean die cut and glued it into the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white, antique gold and teal card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.

Thanks For All You Do

Hello bloggers!  I selected a piece of Iris card to use for the background.  Using the Coronet Lace Border, I cut two in white and two in black.  I used the black die cuts as a shadow behind the white ones, then glued them to the sides of the card.  I cut the Gloria die with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  I used alcohol ink markers to colour the image on the white copy, then I glued the black die cut on top.   I cut the Gloria die again in white and mounted it vertically in the middle of the card.   I added the coloured die cut on top of it.  I cut the Thanks For All You Do sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing die and attached it across the middle of the die with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4" in size.

Floral Extravaganza

Hello bloggers!  This is the final post of this launch, sadly.  This post is dedicated to the Floral Extravaganza die set.  There are a whopping fourteen dies in this set including three different flower sizes, a whole display of leaves and some centres for the flowers.  These flowers have a sort of art deco look to them and even though I haven't used very many flowers on the Art Deco samples, every once in a while, your cards or projects just need a little bit of a floral element to them, don't you think!  For the final time (this month), I ask you to leave a comment on this post and your name will be included in the drawing to win this entire collection! Don't forget to check back on April 4th to see if your name was the one drawn out to win it!  All for now, Sue x

Art Deco Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  Welcome t the penultimate post of the launch.  We are dedicating this post to the other Art Deco sentiment.  Introducing the Just Because sentiment.  This one has been done in the same art deco styled font so it will mix and match well with any you have from the previous release too.  I always say that a card sent with the Just Because sentiment is the very best kind to receive!  You have a couple more chances to add your name to the last two posts.  I always say, someone is going to win the collection, it might as well be you, right!  The final post of this launch will be on the blog at 3pm.  I hope you can join us back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Diamond Radiance Background

Hello bloggers!  The next die on offer is the Diamond Radiance Background.  I love the simplicity of this die, there are so many things you can do with it!  This die set has five dies in it so you have the means to use all or just parts of the die that you want.  The centre section with the rays coming out from it create such a pretty look for sentiments or whatever you chose to put in the middle of your card.  If this one is calling to you, then you need only to add a comment to be entered into the drawing to possibly win it!  I have another beautiful die to share with you at 3pm today.  I hope you will join us back here then!  All for now, Sue x
