Congratulations

Good Sunday morning all! Today's card is similar to one that I have shown already, but it is a much more simplified version so I thought it was worth sharing.  I started with a piece of coconut white card.  I used the Sunrise mask taped to the top of the card.  I inked through the mask with Fossilized Amber using a smoothie and blended it down past the mask slightly.  Next I added Spiced Marmalade to the sun area and into the tops of the rays, pulling a bit of the colour into the rays and slightly past the end of the mask.  I removed the mask and die cut the Circle City Skyline in black gloss and added it with foam at the bottom of the mask line.  I cut the Congratulations in black gloss card and glued it above the city.  White on white mats and layers completed this simple card.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi crafters!  Today's video features the beautiful Triptych window using Iced Flake to give it a real cracked glass feel.  This is one of my favourite Christmas cards, I hope you will like it too.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Christmas Double Day

Hello there my crafty friends!  It's more Christmas coming your way today!  I started this one with a piece of acetate and the Rose Quartz and Yellow Citrine Crystal tints across it.  I used my finger to spread the tints across the acetate then sprinkled some Gold and Cherry Red Holographic glitter on it.  I crumpled a piece of tissue paper over it, tamped it down and set it aside to dry.  Once dry I trimmed the edges to the size of my frame.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to make a white frame which I added with mounting foam.  I cut two of the Frosty Snowflake Corners in white then glued them to the sides of the frame.  I cut the Season's Greeting die in white and glued it in the centre of the frame.  White on white mats completed the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  Scroll down for card number two.

Card number two was started by cutting the Poinsettia Lattice die out of dusty rose card.  I  added it to a backing sheet of coconut white card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I added some Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to the exposed adhesive .  I used the cutting edge to create a frame which I added with foam.  I seated the background on another slight;y larger piece that I embossed using the Poinsettia Lattice embossing folder..  I cut the Tis the Season out of silver card and glued it to the background.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x 7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Fabulous

Hello crafters   I have a rather clean and simple card for you today.  !I started with the background and embossed it with the Sublime Swirls 3D Embossing Folder for some lovely texture.   I used the Starlight Daisy die set and made three dimensional flowers and attached then the to lower edge of the card.  I added some Curly Ferns cut in white around it as accents.  I cut the Mini Expression word "Fabulous" in both wisteria and black card and add it as a shadow the glued it on to the top centre of the card.  I completed the card with white, wisteria and black card mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size.  All for now,
Sue x

Thank You

Hi bloggers!  It's a pretty floral card for today's offering.  I started by cutting a round aperture in the middle of a piece of coconut white card.  I added mounting foam to the back and seated it over a piece of lilac card.  I cut the centre of the Ivy Garden Background in white and recessed it down into the aperture.  I cut the Floral Melody Corner die four times in white and four times in black and shadowed each one.  I cut the matching flowers out of lilac card and glued the matching flowers behind each of the dies.  I added mounting foam to the back of each of them and attached them in each of the four corners.  I cut the Thank you mini expression in both lilac card and black card to use as a shadow.  I glued the sentiment in the centre of the card.  White, lilac and black mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
