Paige and I at the Baylor Bonfire. Paige came with me this year to Baylor's homecoming. She had so much fun hanging out with my friends little girls. We stayed in a hotel room with one of my roommates from college and her little girl. Paige had a really good time getting away and hanging out with me!

8 Months Old!

WOW Chase is 8 months old!! I can hardly believe how time is flying!! I thought this post I would write down his schedule!! Some highlights of the past month are:

*Started clapping

*Waves

*says dadada, bababa and squeals when wants something

*Eats 3 meals a day of baby food and still drinks 4-5 bottles

*Still not crawling but wants to really bad

*Takes 2 naps and sometimes a evening nap

6:30- Wakes up and drinks a bottle

8:45- Breakfast- baby food

9:00- Nap

10:15- Wakes/Plays

11:30- Bottle

12:00- Lunch- baby food

2:00- Nap

3:30- Bottle

6:00- Dinner- baby food

7:30- Bath/bottle

8:00- Bed

I want to always remember what Chase was up to at 8 months!!! I am excited to see what next month brings!

Paige is Jessie this year from Toy Story and Chase is a tool guy!! Paige has wanted to be Jessie for a long time now and she was soooo excited that we found a costume. I even had to do her hair exactly like Jessie except the braid. Chase's costume was a last minute decision and Clif wanted to add the hat. We went up to church for our Fall Festival. There were bouncy houses, games, food, train and a petting zoo. Paige had a great time and would tell me every time she see a certain character she liked.

Date with Dad

Paige's preschool had Date with Dad on Friday. Paige was so excited because Clif was coming to her school and bringing lunch!! They had different games set up that they could play together. There was deer antlers ring toss, memory with pictures that represent dads, making smores and bowling with bears. Paige also had done a little questionnaire for Clif. One of the questions was "How old is your dad?" She answered 6!! He loved that. I think this was a really neat thing to do and Paige had a blast.

Our town had their annual Texas Reds Festival a couple of weeks ago. I took Paige to the kids zone this year and she had a blast. My dad usually enters the cook off but he decided not to this year. It was a lot more relaxing this year just walking around and enjoying everything. Paige had a really good time and told me she can't wait until next year.

Pumpkin Patch

I took the girls and Chase to the local pumpkin patch. They had a really good time picking up and rearranging the pumpkins. The sun was really really bright so it was really hard to get some good pics of Chase. The hay also bothered Paige!! Other than that they had a really good time!!

7 months!!

Chase is 7 months old!!! His little personality is really showing these days. He loves playing with balls, blocks, wheels and anything he can chew on. I usually put him down around 8:00 and he sleeps until around 5:30. I feed him and put him back to bed and he will sleep until around 8-8:30. He will scoot backwards when he is on his tummy but he hasn't figured out how to go forward and crawl. He started talking this month. He says nananana and dadadada. Every time I ask him to say mamama he just smiles at me. He loves his bath and will giggle when Paige splashes him. Baby food has become a hit as long as it is some kind of fruit. He still isn't interested in veggies. This month has been a big month so far. I am excited to see what else he does this month!!

Alike or different???

I thought I would do a comparison picture of Paige and Chase!! They do look alike in some ways but in others they look totally different. Everyone says Paige looks like Clif and Chase looks like me. I don't know because I see them everyday and I think they look similar!!
