Essential Food Storage/Emergency Prep Items

In thinking about what you would like to store for emergencies, it sometimes pays to think outside the box and consider other alternatives. I present the following for your consumption-


"Hey kids, how about some pork brains in milk and gravy for dinner tonight?" "Yeah MOM!" "Zachary, can you go and get the burgers in a can down in the food storage?" "How many cheeseburgers and how many regular hamburgers do you want Mom?" Come on, nobody needs to get 1170% of your daily cholesterol allowance from the pork brains. Nobody would actually think that a cheeseburger in a can could be tasty. Who actually buys these things?

President Hinckley Returns Home

On Sunday President Hinckley passed away, he is now back with his family and those who knew him and loved him on the other side. Those of us on this side of the veil who love him will miss him but I am confident he is having a grand time with the reunions. I had a friend send me a clip of Glenn Beck's tribute to President Hinckley and I thought I would share it with you.

This will be for Kathryn and I to let you know what our thoughts are, how are family is doing, what the kids are up to, where we stand on certain issues, and allow you the chance to respond.
