Ever So Sweet

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all doing well and had a great Memorial Day weekend!  We had such a beautiful weekend .. a nice cold chill came through Vegas and we got to enjoy it for a few days!  Love it when it's chilly!

Anyway, this post is for 2 things .. it's my last GDT post for Lili of the Valley Inspirational Blog and it's time for a new challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies.

I had such a lovely time over at Lili of the Valley Inspirational Blog and I want to thank them for inviting me!  It was such an honor and a pleasure to be a Guest Designer with them.  I know I will always visit there for future inspiration!

Now the new challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies is "Anything Goes" .. ohhHHh how I LOVE those!!!  lol!  Here's what I did:

Positively Pampered

Hello there!  Hope you are all enjoying your week!  It's time for another Lili's Little Fairies Challenge, and this week it is "Anything but a Square".  Oh man, I was like, "Whhhhaaaaat?!!!!  NOT a square?!!!  But, but, but .. I only DO squares!"  (You know .. my creative level is still kept in a box .. a square one to be precise).  hahahahah!  No but yea .. seriously, I kinda panicked for a short bit and then I remembered, "Ohhh!  Do the door/wall hanging thing!"  Phew .. breathe in, breathe out .. relax!  LOL!

So here's another clear door/wall hanging that is non-square .. hehe!

Thinking Of You ...

Hi there!  Hope you are all doing well!  Summer is fast approaching .. gosh I can't believe how quick time flies.  My little one will be out of Kingergarten in a couple of weeks .. I have my Kleenex ready.  lol!  I am SO sad that he'll be done with Kindergarten .. it's like he's officially all grown up or something.  Wish he could stay little for a LOT longer.  I keep asking him, "Even when you're 16 years old, will you still cuddle with Mom?"  He said, "Of course Mommy!!!!" .. like I'm asking him such a silly question.  hehe.

But the great thing about the end of the school year means I can HOG my little boy all to myself!!!!!  Well .. okay .. I'll share him with my hubby for a little bit here and there .. but overall .. I get to HOG him!!!  haha!!  :)

Anyways, it's time for my 3rd post at Lili of the Valley Inspiration Blog and this is what I've done.  I haven't done one of these for a long time .. I guess you could call it a card doorhanger?  Hang it wherever you like actually.  :)

I've done this on clear plastic, so I just replicate whatever is on the front, onto the back to hide any glue that would be showing.  :)

Friendship Is ...

Hello there!  It's time for another new Lili's Little Fairies Challenge .. another fun and easy challenge .. "Use Your Favorite Craft Tool"!  Is it your Martha Stewart Punch for the leaves or borders?  Is it your die cutting machine?  Maybe a simple thing like your paper trimmer that you just can't do without?  Or ... it could be like me .. a sewing machine which rarely ever touches a piece of clothing but ALWAYS needs to be used for my crafting!  LOL!

Lili of the Valley News

Hello there!  Hope you are all doing well and enjoying a fun filled week!  I have some really EXCITING news to share with you .. I will be a Guest Designer for Lili of the Valley Ideas to Inspire for the month of May!  Yayyyyy!  Oh how ECSTATIC I was when I was asked  .. my answer was "Yes Yes Yes .. Yes I say .. Yes!"  haha!!  I am so honored to be a Guest there .. thank you all for asking me!  :)

I've fallen in love with their darling images and have truly enjoyed making cards with them .. something so pure and innocent about them don't you think?  Melts my heart everytime I lay my eyes on them.

Now it's also time for another fun new challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies, and this week the theme is ... drum rolllllllll .... "Anything Goes!!!"  Oh we love those don't we?!!!!!  Easy peasy lemon squeazy .. my type of challenge!  hahahaha!

Friends & Fun Go Hand in Hand

Hello there!  How are you all doing?  Hope everyone is very well!  Do you know we reached a almost a 100 degree temperatures a couple of days here in town?  YUCK!  So gross!  Finally today it looks like it's going to storm and bring in some cooler air .. I hope.  :)

A Special Gift

Hey there!  Hope you're all doing very well!  It's getting warmer and warmer here in town, and I'm wishing that a cold front would come and give us another treat again before the 110 degree temps start setting in.  I enjoy the chilly weather rather than the intense heat!  hehe!

For You

Hello there!  Hope you are all doing very well!  It's time once again for a new Lili's Little Fairies Challenge .. this week it is "Transport".  Yes .. "Transport".  I know it's self explanatory, now that I REALIZE what it is .. lol!  I swear the Lili Girls must've thought I was nuts when I asked, "What do you mean by transport?"  OMG ... haha!!!  But I asked if fairy wings would be considered as transport .. and luckily yes yes yes it is!  haha!

So here's my little fairy with her transporting wings ... (smile):

I tried shading her dress a lot darker black than I normally do and I gained that inspiration from my dear friend Dena!  I love her work!  And although my colouring is no where near her scope of work ... I enjoyed trying this!  Thank you Dena!!!
