Kick up Your Heels!

Hey Friends!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend and Happy Monday to all of you!  It's been awhile since I posted a card on my blog huh?!  What's up with that?!  LOL!  Well, I have some cards coming up in the next week and another surprise that I'll be sharing soon!  :)

Anyway, I made this card for a few challenges listed below.  This little Tilda looks so cute, kickin' up her heels, getting ready to celebrate, or going out on a long awaited date, or getting together with her best gals for a night of talking and laughing ... Return from Disneyland

Hey all!  Hope you all had a wonderful week!  Last night we returned from the happiest place on Earth ... Disneyland!  Gosh it was WONDERFUL!!!  I was a bit sick with a cold, but luckily my hubby and little guy was feeling healthy ... thank goodness!  :)  We did as much as we could cram in, and had a BLAST!

My little guy loved it all!  What is not to love at Disneyland?  It truly is a magical place.  My little guy loved the rollercoasters, the Pirates of the Caribbean, the rocket rides ... and he kept asking over and over to play with the guns.  (I'll show you a pic).  What's with the guns?!  He can barely even see over the counter at what he's shooting, but he absolutely loved it ... WHY?  I have no clue.

Well, here's some pics, and hopefully they will bring back some wonderful memories for all of you that have visited there.  And for those of you who have not ... I hope one day soon you will have a chance to go and make some lovely memories.  :)

Quick stop at Starbucks before heading off to Disneyland.  Little guy is pretty stoked and ready.  Yea, sometimes he gives this little crooked smile ... LOL!

My little guy is so happy to be with Mickey!

Look at all that sweetness ... and the candy too!  hehe!  As you can tell by his hair, it was pretty windy and it was pretty cold there too!

Interactive room, and if you look closely at all the seats ... the ADULTS have taken over the games!  lol!

My little guy finally has a chance to play with the book ... an adult finally got off!  LOL!

These are the guns I was talking about.  See?  He can barely peek over the counter!  Hubby and son having fun though!

The SugarBowl Challenge #32

Hey Friends!  Hope you're all having a wonderful week so far!  I made this card for The SugarBowl Challenge #32 - Sketch by You.  We got to choose a sketch from their library that we wanted to use ... how fun is that?!  I loved the idea, especially since I've been aching to use this precious Sugar Nellie stamp for sooo long now!

So I chose to work with the sketch from Challenge #15!  :)

Now, I'm finally getting round to using my Martha Stewart punches a bit more, and I've been put under such "peer pressure" from my sweet friend Shirley.  lol!  She uses all kinds of MS punches and nesties ... so .... I had to go and buy myself more MS punches, and *gasp*, I finally took the plunge and ordered some nesties!  Naughty Naughty Shirley ... you're very persuasive!  LOL!!!

Well, here is my very simple card, the image is big enough to where you really can't layer too many papers and have it seen:

Happy Birthday

Update:  Okay, I posted hopefully better pics that are a bit less yellow (I think)  lol!  AND!  I forgot to mention ... what a total goofball I am .. that this super duper sweet image was the stamp Stephanne sent to me in her HUGE goodie bag?!  Remember that sweet goodie bag?  Sooo delicious!  I couldn't wait to ink this little cutie up ... Thank you soooo much Stephanne!!!  :)

Hey Friends!  Well, if you notice, my posts are kinda slowing down a little ... hmmmm ... ever since Edward, I've been feeling a bit unmotivated.  As you already know, I'm in love with a vampire that doesn't exist.  lol!   So, I put him up on my computer background as my wallpaper.  My little 3 year old boy asked me very seriously, "Mommy, who is that?!"  And I told him as honestly as I could, "Hmmm, well baby.  That's mommy's future boyfriend.  And he's soooo HOT!"  lol .. honest huh?!

Well, the very next day, I came out of the shower to a not so happy hubby.  He told me, "Nice thing to teach our son.  He went to play games on the computer and told me, 'Daddy, he's soooo HOT!"  LMAO!!!!!

Oh well, hubby's just going to have to learn how to deal with a vampire in my life.  lol!  But of course my main man in my life is my little guy ... always will be.  :)

Alright enought chit chat, I have to hurry to meet the deadline of one of the challenges.  I'm like cutting it really close ... what is WRONG with me?!!!  lol!
