A Drawer Box

Hello Friends,

How r u doing ? I have a queue of projects to share with you all which I have created this month as gifts for my friends. One of them is a drawer box. I found size and folding instructions at splitcoaststampers. The box is quiet sturdy as i have used 2 layers of heavy weight cardstock on all sides of box. The drawer is very spacious to add lots of goodies.

Except the blue roses all flowers are handmade from dies

One thing I found lacking in my die collection and that is a corner die. Though I have added one but not satisfied with this one.

Cardstock -local buy

Embossed Wall Hanging

Hello Friends,

Today I am sharing a wall hanging made for Color Conception Challenges. This post got delayed as I was super busy with my classes, DT post and then in making something special for my friend's birthday.
This is the wall hanging I made using embossing folders. I have tried so many technique with embossing folders for the first time. And I was really stunned to see the end result. I have shared few dry embossing techniques on CCC blog. You can check them out here.

This is done with  faux letterpress technique.

In this I have used crayon resist technique. And look at diecut vellum flowers. I have embossed them too. Embossing on vellum is the best thing to do with embossing folders.

This last piece is simply sanded.
