It's a girl!

Last night I made a card for friends who just had a baby girl yesterday!  I already made them a card for the baby shower but, they didn't know the sex so, it was unisex.  This time around, I get to go girly!

I don't have much card-making experience but, I am starting to get into it and decided that I'd like to participate in some of the card-making challenges...so, here I am, sharing and blogging!  Please keep in mind that I have NEVER blogged before and I have hardly made cards, let alone joined in card-making challenges but, I'm dedicating myself to improving and learning new techniques  and will hopefully be taking 2-3 card-making and scrapbooking classes every month as well as expanding on my tools and supplies! :)
I am learning as I go along but, I hope you enjoy my blog and my work!

So, here it is:

UPDATE:
Ok, so I found the digital SLR and got some pictures that I think do this card more justice.  Lol, I couldn't figure out how to put it on auto-focus so, I hope these images are sharp enough!  They are pretty true to colour and I think you can see how the card conveys the soft sweetness that a baby girl card should.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:
