Always A Part, Never Apart.

Today, I proved myself a complete idiot;
one whom totally wastes my life (attempting) to study yet achieving minimal results.
I have yet to see 2 digits so small yet so powerful they could crush my Monday like an elephant on an ant.

That apart, Mo(a)ndays are no longer long days!
And I'm beginning to like it; how a temporary escape from school ends it/ starts my Tuesday.
We had dinner at Jurong Point last night, and our weekly Monday suppers at Gombak.
(Oh yes, and on the way out, we helped a poor guy push his stalled car cos he crashed into a lamp post =\ )

And everytime I leave, I'm so comfortable, I don't want to return. But don't we know all good things are shortlived.

Sunday morning: I replaced D's role as Postman and surprised her with donuts instead(: Munchy's are the best.
Sunday night: I returned and became Santa Claus, running up and down the same flight of stairs repeatedly.
Sunday night: I returned to keep a promise made a loong time ago.
Sunday night: We did laundry but it stormed so now we've to rewash.

JEW's new album is therapy. (:

How the hell did We wind up like this?

They say love is a circle- it never ends.
But I'll tell you one thing,
that a circle only brings you back to where you started from: Nothing.

Dental yesterday! My teeth still aren't straight =(
And I hate my braces colour, they are grey.

And touch yesterday was, disappointing.
Imagine playing like S-H-I-T the training just after Coach finally said, "played well today."

I've been (excessively) binging on chocolates lately,
must either be a sign that I'm upset,
which I'm trying (too) hard to ignore,
or I'm stressed.
I think's both.

Phil needs to Study, Study, STUDY.

Ps: Horoscope says, "A silly little tiff has the potential to turn into a full-blown argument. Take a second to consider the other person's perspective instead of blowing up"

A apple TEHPENG a day, keeps the Doctor away!

There's a reason why you could be my unintended,
(but you aren't.)

Don't stray, don't ever go away
I should be much too smart for this
You know it gets the better of me
Sometimes, when you and I collide
I fall into an ocean of you, pull me out in time
Don't let me drown, let me down
I say it's all because of you
And here I go, losing my control
I'm practicing your name so I can say it to your face
It doesn't seem right, to look you in the eye
Let all the things you mean to me
Come tumbling out my mouth
Indeed it's time to tell you why
I say it's infinitely true

Say you'll stay, don't come and go
Like you do
Sway my way, yeah I need to know
All about you

And there's no cure, and no way to be sure
Why everything's turned inside out
Instilling so much doubt
It makes me so tired - I feel so uninspired
My head is battling with my heart
My logic has been torn apart
And now it all turns sour
Come sweeten every afternoon

It's all because of you
It's all because of you
Now it all turns sour, come sweeten every afternoon
It's time to tell you why, I say it's infinitely true

***

Before training,
Eli: "Are you sure you want to leave the room with your fugly clipped up hair?"
After training,
Coach: ".... but you could have played better if you clipped your hair up."
(Though I already did, with 2 too!)
Training today was, satisfying and fulfilling.

Having a car makes you complacent, really.
I was too lazy to walk back from Can 2 today, I gave Sc a ring to pick me up.
So "buay pai seh."
To drive again is SHIOK.
To drive a Merc is.. triply shiok!

To do: Update the "List of stupid things we've done"!

The Oath and The Promise.

Who is your true self:

You like privacy very much because you enjoy spending time with your own thoughts. You like to disappear when you cannot find solutions to your own problems, but you would feel better if you learned to share your thoughts with a person you trust.

"The F word"

28 hours later, and I'm back in hall.

"1, 2, 3, everybody say the 'F' word."
"Come on, hands together."
"1, 2, 3, F...... UUUUUNNNNNNNNN!"

Touch today was Fun. It was good, it was satisfying.

No champion cup for you to drink from, but champion hearts for you to (not) mess with.

Ps: I played Link today! Doing splits made me miss you a WHOLE lot, MY GIRL. No other partner beats you. We are the Best.

Wake Up Call.

Believe it or not,
I scalded my tongue from my heated-up donut.

HAHAHAHA.

Ps: I wasted my calories on stupid un-salad you tiaos last night. 6$ was a total rip offff. >=(

So apart from the supper every night (well, I guess it kinda also means I've been sleeping damn late every night), I've been sooo extremely caught up with school. But no, it's the non academic stuff. I need to find my discipline to really sit down and study.

Basically, life is, 4 days of school, til evening. Then dinner, then meetings, meetings, meetings.
Wed & Fris are training nights, and sometimes there are even meetings after trainings that stretch til the wee hours of the morning. Amazing right?

Then, there's God I must thank for Shaochun, who covers me during Joint Sports meetings. And I must give thanks for Touch too, cos we're more englishy than Cheena. Omg, I will so freaking die if touch was a cheena cca. *pats roomie on the back.
But anyhow, about Touch.....

Spots for IVP left vacant for Freshies: 3
No of Freshies: 29347820472
No. of Experienced Freshies: >6
Position Coach is looking for : Wingers
Position Phil plays in JC: Winger
Position Coach makes Phil play now: CENTER.
Current standing Phil is in: Ambiguous

Now you know why I say tomorrow's important.
And to be very honest, I'm rather freaked cos we've (as in the 10 playing) NEVER trained together as a team, and we have very conflicting styles.

Okay, and then apart from Touch,
I NEED TO STUDY.
Can't seem to understand and apply what I learn in tutorials.
Don't ASK.
Phil is stupid, really.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I hate how this feels.

Too much has been happening TOO quickly that I'm too slow with words, really.

"Let's get obese together so we can never ever fall through the gap between our beds!"

I have been suppering every night since Monday.

Fats, oh no, Fats.
What happened to the promise I made to myself? =(((

I didn't quite enjoy training today.
It was weird having the coach of a friend around, and playing with her.
Especially with conflicting styles and disapproving ideas.
So now, we have two coaches?
Don't really like the sound of that.

Time After Time

My current feel good song, though I know it's an oldie.

Lying in bed I hear the clock tick and I think of you
Caught up in circles confusion is nothing new
Flashbacks warm nights almost left behind
Suitcase and memories time after

Sometimes you picture me im walking too far ahead
You're calling to me I can't hear what you say

And you say go slow, I fall behind
Second hand unwind
If youre lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall i will catch you ill be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows you're wondering if I'm ok
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time

Time after time

+

She needs her own space
she's playing mind games
ends up at my place
saying that she's changed
(Jenny, what's the problem?)

I'm trying to read between the lines
you got me going out of my mind

First you say you wont
then you say you will
you keep me hanging on
but we're not moving on
we're standing still
Jenny, you've got me on my knees
Jenny, It's killing me

'Non merci, je suis inutile fils de biatch."

I hate physics.

Invest last night was funny, I remember having to rush for training from hall, while having to settle my formal wear.

Was damn late, but functions always start late anyway.

Worse, I strained my hAmstring for lunch. (Hungry, anyone?)

Now, I think I'm probably having to rest for at least 2 weeks, if it's not thaat serious.

Joy, came over late night for a surprise visit while she was at Gen's,
and I slept for 10 hours, totally missing Life Sci today cos I refused to get out of bed.
And we had MASS suck-the-long-sweet competition today. Heehee. =D

CAN'T WAIT FOR 2100 TOMORROWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Ps: Happy Birthday, FGBABY. *KISSES

Horoscope for the day.

"You'll finally find the solution to something that's been bugging you if you take a break from it for a little while. The answer will come to you."

Phil feels queasy. =(
And Roomie is uber stressed and I can't help. =(

Save Some Sympathy For Me.

So, everyone's gearing up their books and pens and coffee for the sem exams.

Today, or rather Monday, is by far the most fun stressed-up day I've had.

Never had a quiz where two rows of people were openly discussing answers,
and blatantly telling each other, "True", "False", "I don't know?!", and even checking lecture notes.

Never have I so openly walked out from a lecture before,
but we all did it together anyway.
This is what I like about us, we do it together; right or wrong.

Then I find myself within these 4 white-washed walls,
two aircons (but 1 cackles),
two computers,
a water cooler,
and great company.

It is times like these you lose yourself in the accumulating work, and immense stress-
In a healthy way, of course. Crazily screaming to familiar songs we hear on the radio, suddenly swarming to the computer because of Crunchyroll, and the excitement everytime we conquer a damned Phy qn.

We were asked to tone down by a senior next door, (who came by to talk to us, and very generously, gave us some help! (: )

Highlight of the night: Sweet-sucking competition with Wayne.
You know those kinda looong string sweets?
We were gonna compete who could suck one up the fastest,
but we constantly broke out into laughing fits,
and W had his first string on the floor even before I had half of mine in my mouth.

(And, all three of us break into hysterical laughters)

Then he insists on trying again, this time with TWO strings.
And I won again! =D Laughed so hard, I had tummyache.
Too bad we didn't get it down on video cos it'd be something worth watching.

Speaking about laughing fits,
I broke out into one during Phy lect today.
OMG HOW EMBARRASSINGGGG.

PHYSICS, YOU CAN KISS MY ASS ON FRIDAY. I'M GONNA ACE YOU.
(okay, maybe not ace, but, I must be able to do at least half the paper!)

Ps: Tonight was supposed to be Crabbynight, but it didn't work out. =((

hocus pocus FOCUS.

Touch has become therapy,
there's always something to look forward to even though it's physical.

Didn't sleep til 730am on Friday morning, cos we biked out for supper (couldn't find tang yuan :( ), and was too full to sleep.
Woke up at 1130, wow. To oreos dunked in strawberry milk, and tangyuans from Lavender later in the afternoon.

Subcomm night at Weenamkee! I love Weenamkeeeeeee. Wanted to go see the puppy in 23! But J didn't get to book out, so too bad :(
Left for ice cream after the (chaotic) meal at Velo, where we concluded QQ is a kid afterall.

Lazed my night away in my room. I missed it, though 6461305 feels like home.
(And I think I forgot to clear the bin)

Today, I've got 2394732 things to do, 239482390 things to study, 090272438 things to settle.

Everyone wants to study, so do we.
Thanks for ditching us alone to get the stuff.

/won't be home till late afternoon tomorrow.

Someone Else's Dreams.

You only stay with me in the morning
You only hold me when I sleep
I was meant to tread the water
But now I've gotten in too deep

For every piece of me that wants you
Another piece backs away

Besides being too easily distracted, I've finally realised that one other reason why I'm lagging so much behind school work is cos I'm too slow to keep up with the accelerated pace.

I have to finish 2 Math tutorials, 1 physics tutorial, and 1 materials science tutorial in 2 hours.
Damn.

It's when there's silence along the corridors that I hope it'd be you.

J'aime beaucoup mon frère! (:

Okay, before you read, you must understand that his tagline is, "french quiz gd gd~ "J'aime beaucoup corrosion assignment" '

Didn't know I'd need You So Much.

Today (Wednesday, I mean) has GOT to be the best day I've had in weeks.

Ling surprised me, with Romeo as a wonderful deploy DECOY (see what utn has done to me?),
together with muffins-baked-with-love, and a star that I know proudly hang on my bag.

Y, my Mrs. Darcy graciously cabbed down from her school to my little ulu island.
I missed that one, a whole lot.

Then, there was training! One which I was half excited, half afraid to go for.
No pain, no gain! Did fartlegs, and strides, and 100 dummy scoops + spin passes in one motion.
I'm aching, but I enjoyed, and it was amazing.

Dinner after training! Though it was only 3 of us, it was nice, nice, nice.
Walking back to hall was goood too. Walked from 16 to 2, round 8, 9, 10, 11, 15 and 14 then back.
Okay, my legs ache like mad and I predict that I'd have to roll out of bed tomorrow.

Why do we need quizzes, and why must they ALL come together at once?

Ps: The chicken rice I had for dinner sucked though! ):

Find Your Olympics.

I just HAD to paste this here, to serve as a (not very) kind reminder to myself,
about what I want.
Here's an email from Coach:

I am not the kind of coach who increases training 1
month before the big matches.Any team serious about
training will be preparing months ahead.Looking into
player/team needs.

We did pretty good in our friendly against S'pore Poly
last week:)
I am trying to fix another friendly for us,both
seniors & juniors.Looking at Temasek Poly & S'pore
American School.

For our juniors we are also training for Asian Schools
Touch Championships in 8 December.
Team selections will have to base on committment to
trainings & ability.

After that will be a lead up to our IVP Touch.
Followed by probably the National Touch League which
is likely to be pushed to early part of the year.

We are looking to put in a team in the womens B category.

Also in the pipeline,i am hoping we can rally up
enough interest in the team to fly up to play the top
2 best school teams in Bangkok near christmas
.It will
be a training cum buy Bangkok down shopping trip.
Interested already?

Last matter on my mind,i will be announcing our new
captains for this season soon.

8 DECEMBER-Asian Schools Touch Championships
21-25 DECEMBER-Bangkok training/fun trip
JANUARY-Intervarsity Polytechnic Touch Competition
FEBURARY-National Touch League

Trainings now are every wednesdays & fridays,5pm.Bring
both running shoes & boots for Wednesdays.

Please learn to manage your time & make trainings.
Remember,
obstacles are what u see when u take ur eyes
off ur focus.

NOTE TO SELF:

  1. Management Test next Monday,
  2. Math Test 2 next Monday (cannot afford to screw the second one!)
  3. Phy Re test next Friday (don't waste second chances, Phil!)

Stress, is just an Excuse.

please take the emotions from my heart,

and place them as words on my lips.
