colour inspiration
I received this lovely necklace from Planet Button Designs, Folksy Shop, http://www.folksy.com/shops/planetbuttondesigns the other day.
I was blown away by it.
Obviously, it was meant for a christmas present but it ended up in my drawer, just cant part with it.
Anyway I am not too good with colours, I sometimes struggle to put things together.
But I was so inspired with the lovely colours on this necklace that I wanted to share it with you.

Featured Item
Oh yippee - just noticed my brooch has been featured on Folksy today. Really Pleased.
Funny but since I have sold a few items this week, my family seem to have more respect for the fact that sometimes I need a bit of me time to craft. Usually as soon as I sit down they suddenly all want my attention.
I had a lovely day yesterday when I received some of the items that I had ordered, every one of them was packaged so nicely and I had some little gifts in with them too. People can be so thoughtful and it really made my day, it gave me a real boost.

Not a good week
Well, just a quick note to say what a terrible week it has been. Was struck down with the dreaded flu and then allergic reaction to the pills I was taking and got covered in a rash. Then the computer decided to break down. Now my daughter got the flu too. Boo Hoo.

Brooches
I suffer terribly from impatience. I can sit all day and make something but I can't stand it if it runs into another day. I have started making little brooches. I can pick them up and put them down all day. I have been rumaging through charity shops looking for little bits and bobs. But will have a major hunt at the weekend, probably on a trip to Whitstable (definately the best place for charity shops).
Put a few brooches on Folksy.

About Time
It really is about time I got around to getting on with this blog. Excuse me if it seems a bit of a muddle, its my first go at this.
My first sale on Folksy inspired me, excited me and gave me the confidence to get out into the world instead of hiding away, too shy to show what I do.
Thanks to Helen from http://simplyhdesigns.co.uk who wrote a lovely bit about my stall after my first craft fair, and that resulted in my first sale.
My wreaths (above) seem to be popular and I sold five at the fair, loads to friends and I am busy busy busy trying to get more done. Trying to find old jumpers in the charity shops at the moment is a nightmare and I fear I may run out. I have two in my folksy shop at the moment, if your interested http://www.folksy.com/shops/pantsandpaper.
