Singapore Food Fest

After spending a whole day at home, the night was spent at Clarke Quay with my mum. No, we didnt go clubbing. But headed to the Food Festival there instead. Didnt appeal too much to me actually, other than taking in the sights of the whole place. I think i saw a few familiar faces too.

We tasted this bread-like cinnamon roll thing that was supposed to be from Budapest, Hungary. I must say they're such cool chillax folks. My aim is to be like them, to love what i'm doing. To WORK, as well as to PLAY.

And i passed by The Bellini Grande, which of all the nightspots around, managed to catch my attention. haha. I realise i have to wait another 4 more years before i'm allowed to enter. oh well..

ARGH!

Oh damn.. i'm having this blogger problem again. Where everything on the blogger screen is like jumbled up!!

I'm getting into the operas! haha.. Tenors and sopranos. Pavariotti and Domingo, dead and alive.

Was talking to someone and exploring music together. I realise i really do listen to many different genres.. haha!

There's the jazz, classical, opera arias (which i think fall under classical also), bossa nova, normal pop, CANDY POP!, boyband pop, the 70s, 80s kind of retro music etc etc. haha. i just dont like metal and punk.

Had some problem with blogger for the past day when i wanted to post something. Arent i glad it's fixed now.

Went for a Swing Jazz performance at esplanade with roo, which wasnt really nice at all. Kind of disappointing.. but oh well.. the whole evening wasnt particularly fun either. But i'm so thankful for GSS, i managed to get myself a good buy. Or at least i think it's a good buy.. Business shirts at 35, from G2000, considering that one of my white shirts have 2 brown STAINS, and it just wont come out. apparently the detergent advertisements are bull shit la.

Was at Esplanade library just now, while spending the time away. Read a few books about jazz, Beethoven and J.S. Bach.. haha.. Cant believe i'm reading such stuff also, in an attempt to ensure i have the knowledge to impress during my practical exam. haha!

deja vu

This is amazing. I met someone whom i saw in my dream. Considering that i rarely have dreams, and it's even more unlikely that i remember my dream. This is just plain weird.

Today at Botanic Gardens felt like a flop at first, cause of the low attendance. But i guess it turned out to be alright at the end. I guess lesser people may not add to the atmosphere, but at least i know these few people better.

So many things to do! BAHHHHHH!

I went home and caught some chick flick called 'Fired Up!' Apparently it's some chick flick, about 2 jocks who join cheer camp and ended up being cheerleaders. Pretty dumb show, but nonetheless, provided some brainless entertainment for about an hour and a half.

Actually, i think i like chick flicks. LOL. Which reminds me.. Harry Potter is already out! Since i never did read the book, (i fell asleep reading the first chapter of the first book), i shall watch the movie. haha!

Botanic Gardens on Sunday for GCC bonding. Hope everyone's involved, enthusiastic and all, which i'm sure will be the case. However, i wonder if there will be numbers. Hopefully all goes well!

Hmm... i like to picture this scenario of some demure english lady, dressed in pretty floral prints and a hat, with a picnic basket. Laying out the red-white-checkered picnic mat and slowly bringing out the food for her young children who are out playing at the lawn. super random. haha.

Ok, i shall start being selective about movies i watch, especially since i'm paying good money to watch them! it's one of the many things i have to do in excess now, considering that i'll miss this activity once i'm away.

wow. this is un-expected. it's exactly what Mr Yeo said about my OSIP, a blessing in disguise. i'm glad i accepted it, even if i'll be the only one going away to vietnam. 20 weeks.
