Colour by Llarowe Summer 2014 - Read My Lips, More New Colors, Frenzy and Liquor is Quicker

Today I have 3 of the crelly polishes to show you from the CbL Summer collection.  I was initially going to show you these just as normal swatches but when I was painting my nails last night I felt like doing something different.

As I said above, these polishes are described as crellys which means they are somewhere between a creme and a jelly polish.  The colours I am showing are:

- Read My Lips, More New Colors which is a neon orange polish.  Now this one is so bright in real life but seems a little less so in my pictures.
- Frenzy which is a neon pink polish (with purple undertones)
- and Liquor is Quicker which is a bluey purple (or blurple) polish.

I started with a based of 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Nails Inc Floral Street (which is a stark white) and then first painted a chunk of the nail with Read My Lips, then the chunk next to it with Frenzy and lastly the chunk at the top with Liquor.  As I do not have the steadiest hand, my colours sometimes overlapped so to tidy it up - and also to act as a great contrast with the brightness of the bases - I drew lines to separate the colours with the Sally Hansen Black Dot and Flick tool and then a coat of the Shield to seal it all in.

Now as I said it is so much brighter when you actually see the polish but you get the idea from the pictures.  These colours will be amazing for Summer - if it actually ever comes to stay here.

Keep an eye on the Llarowe facebook, the CbL facebook and the Llarowe site for news about the next re-stock of the Summer polishes as this is the best way to hear these being announced.  CbL polishes can also be purchased from the Harlow & Co site and again check facebook to find out when you can pick these up.

Thanks so much for looking  <3

Nails Inc

Today I have for you a handful of Nails Inc polishes that I have worn sometime ago but never got round to showing you yet.

These pictures were taken a little bit of time ago and also at different times so my nail length is a little all over the place, I seem to go through phases with my nails with what I prefer so apologies for being so varied here.

Firstly we have London Wall which is a nude polish from the Concrete Effect collection.  This is 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of the polish with no top coat.

NI Concrete London Wall (1)

Then we have Kensington High Street, which not only is a great creme berry polish, it is a crystal cap which was bought for me by my boss a while back as a thank you for painting her nails for her.  This is 1 of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

NI Kensington High Street (1)

Then we have Stratford which is a rose gold polish from the Mirror Metallic collection.  This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

NI Stratford (1)

Lastly we have Upper Brook Street which is a great navy blue shimmer polish, and again another crystal cap from my boss.  Believe it or not this is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.  This polish had such great coverage!

I purchased my Glitzology polishes on Etsy but it seems the store no longer exists... which is a shame if she is no longer making polishes as I have some great ones here still to show you!

Silly Lily Polishes are also sold on Etsy

And I got my Serum No5 from a UK store that was opened a few months ago called the Nail Arcade which is no longer around but here is a list of the site for their current stockists.

Thanks for looking and I would love to hear what your favourite of these combos are!

Nails Inc Chelsea Bridge Road and South Kensington - Foils

I have for you all today 2 of the 3 new Nails Inc foils.

Firstly we have Chelsea Bridge Road, a gold foil then we have South Kensington, a silver foil.

Both were very easy to apply and I could have gotten away with just 1 coast as they are very pigmented.  But here is 1 coat of the Knight and 2 of each polish.  No top coat.

Nails Inc Covent Garden and Royal Botanical Gardens

I hae for you all today 2 Nails Inc Polishes, the first is from the Summer Collection.

It is called Royal Botanical Gardens which looks like a pastel mint in the bottle but for some reason pulled a lot more like a pastel blue on me.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

1 - nails inc royal botanical gardens

I then had tried wearing Covent Garden which is one of the Beaded Effect polishes, I found this quite think and difficult to apply after the first coat so thought it might be easier if I only had to do the one coat, I was right, so here is the above mani with 1 coat of Covent Garden and no top coat.

2 - nails inc covent garden over royal botanical gardens (1)

2 - nails inc covent garden over royal botanical gardens (2)

And just for reference here is 2 coats of Covent Garden alone, as I said it was tricky to apply and did require a little patience but I also quite like the extreme texture of the polish once it was dried in.

I have another of the beaded polishes here and am looking forward to trying it out and will of course let you all know how that goes.

Nails Inc Bermondsey - Denim and Andrea Fulerton Dot and Flick White

I have for you all today another of the Nails Inc Textured polishes, this time I have Bermondsey which is a Denim effect.

Again I loved this one, it was pretty easy to apply but as with the other texture polishes you have to wait a little between coats to avoid messing the polish up.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and no top coat.

I had also recently received the new Andrea Fulerton Dot and Flick pen in White.  I loved the black version so was excited to try the White one too.

I decided to try and create a stitching effect on top of the demin polish, the Dot and Flick pen was great and easy to use, and also very pigminted as covered over the blue polish easily.

So here is my attempt at nail art using the pen, still no top coat as wanted to keep the denim effect base.
