Elegant Touch Nail Wraps

I have for you all today 3 sets of Elegant Touch Nails wraps, Black and Chevron, Dotty Hot Pink and Leopard Aqua.

all wraps

I had received these quite a while back and apologies for taking so long to show you them, but it did take me a little while to try them and them even longer to decide to actually show you them, but I will note this has nothing to do with the wraps themselves.

I just was not happy with how I applied the wraps and how they looked in the pictures, and again this was nothing to do with the quality of the wraps, it has to do with how badly I applied them,  I just did not have the skill to trim them to the correct size and apply them without creasing.

When I did wear them I got a lot of compliments on how they looked, but just close up in pictures every tiny flaw is shown.

These wraps come in pre-sized nail strips but I found I had to trim quite a few of them to fit my nails, this may not be the case with everyone as obviously it depends on your nail size etc.  They then have a sticky back which you just apply to your nail and presto, pretty designs in minimum time.

Firstly we have Black and Chevron which comes with the black strips and then the accents come separately you can decide where they go.  Oh and please ignore the fact I am holding a-england bottles in my pictures, they were the closest to hand when taking the photographs!

black and chevron

Then we have Dotty Hot Pink which is alternating pink and white bases with the opposite colours dots on each nail, there are also little clear crystal designs at the bottom which are preset.

The we have Leopard Aqua which is just print on the wraps without any additional add ons.

Well that's that, I did like the designs on these just not sure they are worth it for me, due to many many years of painting my nails I can do it to my standards fairly quickly but as I am not used to wraps I felt it took me longer to apply these than it would have to paint my nails, that being said I am in no way talented achieve these kind of designs without the use of wraps so there is that.

I would love to hear your thoughts on wraps, these and others :)

You can purchase lots of different kinds of Elegant Touch Wraps from the official site here.

Colors By Llarowe Monkey See, Monkey Do

Today we have another stunning Colors By Llarowe holo polish.

This is Monkey See, Monkey Do which is a linear blue holo polish but there is also some blue holo micro glitters scattered through the polish which make it even more interesting and pretty!

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

I still have a few more CbL polishes to show you but am dying to get some more but no way I am quick enough to be lucky in the restocks cos even if they were not super popular and sold out fast, I am very forgetful as to when they actually happen so have little chance.

The Llarowe site is going through a little downtime just now to prepare for the launch of the new site, which I hope will make restocks much easier for the people buying, but also Leah Ann and her team as they deserve it!

Keep an eye on the Llarowe Facebook and official site for restock information.  Oh and lastly, Leah Ann recently announced that Harlow & Co are now the official Canadian stockist for CbL polishes so also head to this site to look out for them and congrats to Katie and her team <3

a-england Fonteyn

I have today to show you the last polish from the a-england Ballerina collection, Fonteyn.

Fonteyn is a silvery lavender holo polish, the holo in this one is great, and coverage, as to be expected with a-england was perfect.

The only bad thing I can say is that this is the last polish in the Ballerina Collection and I will have to wait on Adina to use her creative genius and release another collection :p

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.  On a side note, I got some a-england vouchers for my Christmas and since I - very luckily - have one of all of the polishes from the site, I used my voucher to get backups of the Knight and the Shield and also Camelot and Lancelot.  I use these polishes regularly, the Knight and Shield with every mani and Camelot and Lancelot so often alone or as a base for other colours so I am super happy I got these as I was onto my last bottles of all four!

But anyway, back to Fonteyn.

a-englands can be purchased from the official site if you are in the UK, or Llarowe for International customers.  You can find a list of all the a-england stockists on the site.

If I remember rightly this was the first Cadillacquer I bought, from the Nail Arcade which is no longer around.  You can also purchase these polishes from Cadillacquer official siteRainbow Connection,  Llarowe and Harlow & Co

The sale I mentioned on the Cadillacquer official site is still ongoing at the time of writing, this polish is not included but there are many great others!

Cadillacquer Left Behind

I have for you all today another great polish from Cadillacquer.

This one is called Left Behind which is a light grey base with green glitters and shimmer running throughout.

You could layer this if you wanted but I actually like doing a few coats alone as it shows more depth to the polish.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

As I think I mentioned before, I had been looking to get some of these polishes for a while and managed to pick up a couple from the UK indie sites (the Nail Arcade - which is no longer around and Rainbow Connection) and then Llarowe was having a sale and I picked up a few there (this being one of them) and then there was also a sale ongoing on the Cadillacquer official site and I just had to pick up some there a couple of days ago.  I am so glad I did and have been super impressed with Madelines creations and hope to keeping adding to my collection.

The sale I mentioned on the Cadillacquer official site is still ongoing at the time of writing this, and this is one of the polishes included in that sale.

Colors By Llarowe Unknown Galaxy

Today I have for you all another great polish from Colors By Llarowe, Unknown Galaxy.

Again this is a slight change from the previous CbL polishes I have shown you as Unknown Galaxy is a deep teal jelly polish with silver glitter through the base.

I loved this one and honestly don't think I have another like it in my collection.  I am starting to really like jelly bases as even though they require a few more layers, the payoff is great.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 3 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Again Leah Ann has made another great polish, I have not seen or tried a CbL polish that hasn't been great and I look forward to each new one I try,

As always I will say that Colors by Llarowe are extremely popular and do sell out quickly so keep an eye on the Llarowe Facebook and official site for restock information.

Dear Rus Colour Changing Polishes layered with some Dear Rus Noblesse polishes

Today we have the colour changing polishes I showed you yesterday, but I have layered them with some other Dear Rus polishes I had to show too.

I actually found the colour changing polishes were great to layer with as the warm and cool colours of the thermal polishes showed off the glitters in different ways.

All polishes are 1 coat of the glitter and 1 coat of the Shield over yesterdays mani.

First we have Dear Rus Noblesse Glam 610 which is white and green glitters in a clear base over CC08.

1 dear rus noblesse glam 610 over cc08

Then we have Dear Rus Noblesse Glam 606 which is black and white glitters in a clear base over CC14.

Lastly we have Dear Rus Noblesse Shuffle 306 which is a peach tinted base with gold shimmer over CC27.

Dear Rus Colour Changing Polish

I have for you all today 6 polishes from the Dear Rus Colour Changing collection.

This was my first experience with thermal polishes and I was really impressed with the colour change, even though the temperature just now did not allow me to see the warm colour without heating the polish up first.

All pictures are 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

CC08 is a sky blue shimmer when cool which changes to a silvery white when warm.

dear rus colour changing cc08

CC14 is a rosy pink shimmer when cool and a light peach when warm.

dear rus colour changing cc14

CC15 is a hot pink shimmer when cool and changes to a light pink when warm.

dear rus colour changing cc15

CC21 is a pink with a gold shimmer when cool and changes to a light golden pink when warm.

dear rus colour changing cc21

CC26 is a deep peach shimmer when cool and changes to a golden taupe when warm.

dear rus colour changing cc26

CC27 is a pinky brown shimmer when cool and changes to a silver when warm.

As I said at the start, I was really impressed with the colour change of these polishes and just wish I could get to see the change happen naturally.  Maybe when the temperature gets up a bit I can get to see them this way.

Dear Rus has a great selection of different polishes and you can purchase them from Llarowe

a-england Her Rose Adagio

Here we have the third from the Ballerina Collection from a-england, Her Rose Adagio which is another great holo polish from Adina.

Eugenia of Ommorphia Beauty Bar describes this best as a faded Rose polish but I like to think of it as a-england does nude polish.... and does it well.  You probably know I am not a great fan of nude toned polishes, I like polish vampy or bright but I loved wearing this one, so delicate and pretty.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Colors By Llarowe Ox

I have for you today another new type of polish from Colors By Llarowe, a jelly polish, Leah Ann does all kinds of polishes and seems to excel at each.

Ox is a deep Oxblood jelly polish and as it is a jelly it required a few coats but it worth it for the finished look.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 4 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Gloss 'N Sparkle Sonorous and Sour Candy

I have for you today 2 polishes from another brand that is new to me, Gloss 'N Sparkle.

This is one of the main things I love about the Llarowe site, the abundance of different brands that have great polishes to offer.

But anyway, back to Gloss 'N Sparkle just now.

Firstly I will show you Sonorous which is matte glitters of blue, green and purple in a clear base.  This is 1 coat of the polish over Colors By Llarowe Unzipped (I had to adjust the camera settings a little to show the colours in Sonorous properly)

Colors By Llarowe Unzipped

I have for you today a stunning light blue holo from Colors By Llarowe called Unzipped.

From the Llarowe site, it confirms that this polish was to be released on a past collection and had a different name.  In a mix up, this was sent instead of Zipper and has now become known as "Unzipped".

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Dear Rus Noblesse Sandstone Polishes

I have for you today 5 polishes from the Dear Rus Noblesse Sandstone polish line.

All are jelly bases with holo glitters and are swatched with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

SN17 is hot pink.

SN22 is Royal Blue.

SN25 is a medium green.

SN36 is black.

SN41 is orange.

I really liked all of these polishes when wearing them, and I don't have many of this jelly based type polish in my collection so they were a welcome addition.  Application was actually really easy given the amount of glitter in the polish.

Have you tried any of these, or what if you favourite from these ones, surprisingly mine was the orange!  Another thing I liked about the Dear Rus Noblesse polishes are the bottles, so unusual and line up so nicely side by side.

These, and many other from Dear Rus, can be purchased from Llarowe
