Illamasqua Eclipse

This polish is one of the Illamasqua pretties I had my eye on for a while, so I was super happy when I managed to pick it up in the sale about Christmas time.

This is one of the polishes that was designed by the winner of a contest Illamasqua held in 2010 which gave people the opportunity to design their dream polish, the others were Raindrops (shown here) and Shrapnel which I also nabbed in the sale and will show you another time.

Eclipse is a metallicy navy blue, and is shown here with 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Eclipse and 1 of the Shield. The last picture shows how it looks in a lower light.

Unfortunately, none of the polishes from this competition are readily available, but the brand new Illamasqua site has some other beauties just waiting to be bought.

Thanks for looking <3 xx

Ozotic 533 over a-england Camelot

Today I have for you another of the stunning 'mish mash' polishes from Ozotic which are multichrome linear holos!

533 shifts from mainly purple and blue, to bronze and has hints of green too.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of Camelot 2 of 533 and 1 of the Shield - and apologies for the yoyo-ing nail length, this is another mani a wore a while back but haven't had a chance to post yet.

This pretty (and a lot of others) can be bought from Llarowe here.

The Ozotic polish was sent to me for review.

Nails Inc Baker Street

Today I have for you all an absolutely stunning blue from Nails Inc, anyone who has been here before probably knows I love a good blue but this one is just wow!

My Nails are much longer in this post as I only received Baker Street on Friday but I had to let this one skip the queue of swatches cos I love it so much.  And I also must say, out of all the polishes I have worn to work, this one received the most compliments.

So without further yapping here is 1 coat if the Knight, 2 of Baker Street and 1 of the Shield.

I don't know about you but I love this polish, have any of you picked it up yet, if not you can get it from the official Nails Inc site for £11.

If this is how Nails Inc start their Spring collection, I cannot wait to see what else they have lined up.  I know there are another few great looking brights on the site already.

Thanks for looking <3

Dollish Polish Nice Scrunchy, Heather

Today I have for you another pretty from Dollish Polish, Nice Scrunchy, Heather.

Now this was the polish that first jumped at me from Dollys Esty store and said 'Buy Me!!'  Heathers has got to be one of my all time favourite films so even if this polish wasn't a stunning red holo, I might have had to buy it anyway.

I wore this a while ago so my nails are quite short in the pictures but I sometimes love how red looks on shorter nails.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Don't you just love it?!

Thanks for looking and please pay Dolly a little visit at her Etsy store or her Facebook Page to find this and so many other pretties.  I really need to get my next order in with her but my want list just keeps getting longer and longer......

Nails Inc Holland Park Avenue and Hampstead Gardens

Today I have for you all two very lovely polishes from Nails Inc, Holland Park Avenue and Hampstead Gardens.  These two polishes were part of the Nails Inc New Year Collection, and were designed with the 'strong neutrals' trend in mind.

Firstly I will show you Holland Park Avenue which is a rich chocolaty taupe.

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Next we have Hampstead Gardens which is a honey mustard coloured neutral polish.

Again this is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of the polish and 1 of the Shield.

Some of you may be surprised to hear this, but I actually really loved both of these colours on me, I think I am much more of a fan of these stronger neutral colours rather than the ones designed for 'mannequin hands' as for some reason, I never liked that look on me.

These colours are great as they are neutral enough to go with a lot of things but at the same time, still allow your nails to stand out.

Both of these polishes can be bought on the Nails Inc website for £11 each.

Thanks for looking <3 xx

a-england Bridal Veil

Hello everyone!!  Oh how I have missed you all!!

I cannot apologise enough for my extra long absence but today is the first day I have really been feeling up to doing a post, being ill and creative at the same time do not mix, haha.

But wow, you have all been keeping my blog feeling loved while I have been gone, **waves hi to all my new followers** and my pageviews that I was so excited about getting to 20,000 at the new year, are now over the 40,000 mark!! I don't even know what to say!!

So without further whittering on from me, here is the beauty I have for you today, a-england Bridal Veil from the new Legend collection.

Bridal Veil is a black scattered holo and is extremely opaque, 1 coat would be fine for complete coverage if you were tidy enough.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 2 of Bridal Veil and no top coat.

Wow, I love this one, but you all know that already, the Legend collection is an amazing set of polishes, each one just as stunning as the last.

I hope you all like this too and I hope to be back to normal posting very soon <3 <3

This polish can be purchased from the official a-england site for £9 with free worldwide shipping here and you can also buy from Llarowe here (and yes that is little old me on the Llarowe site, thanks Leah Ann <3 xx)
