July flies

Time flies especially July when my family came over to visit and for my Graduation...

3rd July:  Met them in Metro Station, just sleep and eat, trying to recover from long hours flight, it took almost 28 hours to meet me here.

The first week here is quite relax, we went to Bridges,Sunderland which is the one and only shopping mall in Sunderland... Metro Centre and Ikea, mom was very happy and excited to see all those beautiful home decor things, it was such a shame that we not able to bring them back to Malaysia, the interior design of Ikea was truly practical yet stylish. We also made a trip to Dalton Park, an outlet, dad purchased a lot of chocolates and biscuits from Marks and Spenser; while mom and sis bought few Radley handbags and purses. It was on Sales and we had additional 20% off too.... :) We had great time over there :D
I brought them to Newcastle for a day tour, had Sushi lunch and just shops around.

Initially they were complaint about the weather is too cold, while i think the summer for this year is actually quite nice. :D dad didn't bring thick clothes because i told him the summer weather for this year is good. he blamed me for that. lol. so he bought few sweater from Blue Inc while we at Dalton Park.

Dad favourite shop here in UK are Ladbroke,William Hill and Coral... All the betting shops for horses, football etc. He really enjoyed his time there... and what can i say? just let him had his own ''Happy hour'' there..haha...

8-9 July we went to Bristol,Bath and Stonehenge.
We took the earliest Metro on 6.10 am to Newcastle Airport, and 9.30 flight to Bristol. Then took a cab to Bath hotel, dropped the luggage and we went out to Bath City.

We went to Bath Spa, had audio guided tour ( we given a phone-like equipment and we can choose the language on the audio guide, when we saw a notice board with numbers, we can key-in the number and there is a special audio to introduce the places/ art pieces we saw) I feel it was really great for tourists, because i can choose to know more about the places/things which i am interested... All tourist places should use this if possible... :D

We visited Bath Abbey,a church with remarkable architecture.

Tried some Caramel Fudge at the local shop, it was delicioooous! but too sweet... a bit is enough for me. can't eat the whole pieces...

My sis and I went up to Royal Crescent, totally impressed with the design, the weather was really great and we took a lot of photos...

9 July : Went out for Stonehenge Morning Half Day Tours with Scapers Tours.the whole tours took 4 hours- 2 hours on the bus and 2 hours in Stonehenge.
I met Chiawli and Natasha & familys. All co-incidence booked the same day tour with same company :D

It was a happy outings, to see the amazing Stonehenge, one of the 7 wonders of the world. except for dad commented he was forced to join the trip with us and see the stupid stone (which took over 1000 years to build)...Lol.my dad was too funny.

...to be continued....

Best day of my study life!

Results out!!! Thanks God I PASS! and officially a Master graduate~ Couldn't imagine if i didn't.
Emotion is  peaceful. No tears.

Cant believe it been 4 years!!! like blink of an eye.
I always ask myself is it a wise decision to come England to study...
I still don't have the solid answer but hey, i guess it makes me who i am now.
Maybe someday in the future, I look back and be grateful that I stayed in UK.

Family are all happy to be here soon! in 2 weeks for my Graduation! thinking where to go... what to buy... just being happy... :D

Not truly look forward for work, but look forward for the money!
its good to be able to live by using own money ~ have my own financial plan.

i enjoyed the flying fox, Tarzan Swing ( jump from 30 m high and here is where we realised people committed suicide actually took lot of courage...but why not use this courage to live and fix things up?)

Organized public health campaign about Smoking Cessation in Sunderland.

4. April and May : study and exams!

5. May- Poland and Prague 10 days vacation! Missed it very much even it was tired!

Love the food, cuisine, building, castle, chilling under the sun, do what tourist should do...Sun bath!

6. June - Started placement, travel 3 hours per day wasn't a great nor memorable experience for me. Didn't managed to have strong relationship with colleagues in the short time [4 weeks] such a shame. Missed my previous placement colleagues in Jarrow!

7. Family 1st Europe tour! Happy to bring them shop/walk around. Had good time!
Went Paris,Switzerland,Pisa,Florence,Venice,Munich,Rhine Valley,Amsterdam,Belgium!
Awesome memories. :)

8. August - went back KK. and just stay home and hang out with bee. Went Kundasang Mt.Kinabalu with bee and her roommie! nice to see Desa Farm, Raffasia and have hot spring bath all for 1st time! awww.... love it! The ''mei jing'' restaurant is my favourite restaurant in Mt Kinabalu! enjoyed the food so much! oh ya, i bought a pot of flowers from Mt.Kinabalu on the way back to KK. my first pot of flowers which now under the care from my grandma. xD

9. Sept- Travel to KL twice in a week time. Crazy but it happened.
1st time is go with family, 2nd time is I alone travel to KLIA and transit to England.

Went Kl to stay with my sis in taman near Nottingham campus, and do household works... (not my main purpose thou) then find chui to eat /caught up / play ! shocked to see her lost so much weight!
we had lots of japanese cuisine! i wont say No to sushi, noodles, etc.
recall my secondary school moment, i always have japanese meal with bee ,chui, cindy, matthew at japanese restaurant...

aww...friends are great.

now i rarely have japanese meal cause it is too pricy! rm 55+ for a lunch set without any drink or sides...

10. Back to UK and enjoy my final year. start my final year project. Gathering with friends, job-hunting! Interview was terrible night-mares for me. think about the travel time for attend an interview normally costed me a full day on transportation!!!
Sometimes i woke up in shock cause too worry about my pre-reg.
Luckily, I finally got an offer email from Priya Ltd. Pre-reg place in Liverpool! really excited and look forward to have new life there!
Hope I can receive a detailed contracts from them soon. ( they still haven't reply me yet) hopefully no last minutes pull -out of offer ya?

11. Joined Life Game 2013 in Derby. It a game where we have to get educated, go job interview, get a job to pay living expenses. We Learned and experienced life. It was like u press a fast forward button in life and when the game ended, you realised what you done, and what should you really focus on.

for that instance, i think family should really be my first concern above all.

yeah that's all about 2013.
