PIP Challenge 1930 and Baby Joe IV

Pammie's Inky Pinkies
Challenge 1930
THEME = WINGS

This week's sponsor is All Dressed Up
where you can find some beautiful digis and
begin making stunning cards of your own
creation. They are kindly offering 2 digis for
this week's winner! Go check them out now!
Now, you may wonder where my card
is for the challenge and this is the reason...
I became a first time grandma, and very
possibly, the only time. I'm more than
thrilled to have this little man in our
family!! He came in on July 22, weighing
in at 7 lbs 5 ozs, 20 inches long. He was
3 weeks early, on purpose, but an
emergency C-section was necessary.
Mom, Amber, and Joe IV (LJ, Little Joe)
are doing great! Daddy, Joe, survived too!
It's been a busy but amazing week!
Anyway, I didn't take the time to create,
or for that matter be home. hehe BUT
be sure to join in the weekly challenge

Here I am...TRYING to be creative! HA!
This was a great pattern and I will be
filing all my cards with these little
folder boxes! I used a cupcake die cut
for the sides. I scored the cake part and
embossed the cupcake paper part.
Picture isn't great but I'm sure you'll
get the idea.
Here is the video link.

His name is going to be Joe, and he'll be
joining the family sometime next Sunday
or Monday. Induced! Soooo, today was
the baby shower. WHEWWWW! I'm so
amazed I found any time to make a card,
but, here it is!! Colored using Tri-blend

Here's my card!

I love making chicken cards and this
chicken from Polkadoodles was FUN!
I used chicken wire and sentiment
stamps from Newton's Nook. I randomly
stamped the chicken wire stamp and
embossed it with silver. It really looks
like wire. The sentiment was perfect
since I was sending this to my friend, Sue.
I colored my sweet hen using Copics and
fussy cut her out so I could add mounting
tape to raise her over the "wire."

Here's my card!
This will be an anniversary card for
my wonderful friends, Dale and Gerri Morgan.
I enjoyed coloring this delightful image,
from Morgan's Artworld (appropriate for
the Morgan's anniversary), with my new
LOVE THEM!! They truly do a marvelous
job of blending and are awesome for
travelling without having to take all
your other markers. 24 in the set, giving
you a total of 72 colors. Great idea from
Crafter's Companion! My ribbon/bow
was white until I used my markers to
match it to my colored image perfectly.
I stamped the Love sentiment to finish
the card. Whatcha think??? 😎

Here's my project!
Ok, first of all...I'm am NOT very
creative when it comes to "projects"
but thankfully the PIP DT gals are!!
Whew!!!
Anyway, I printed the pattern,
for the box, on the back of a
piece of designer paper. I then cut
it out and formed my box...then,
my brain up and died on me. LOL!
BUT, here's what I came up with
using a stamp and die cut from
Crafter's Companion and white
ribbon colored with Copic marker.

Challenge 1924

This week's sponsor is
Di's Digis

Here's my card!

I cut the white card base at 8.5 x 4.25. Then
cut it down a 1/4 inch, long and short
sides. Then I cut the front part, leaving
about 1.5" on the bottom. I added some
patterned cardstock to the little front
panel and attached the white base to the
matching patterned cardstock. I die cut
several flowers and leaf sprigs and
added them to the front, raising up the
2 smaller ones. I put some dot
embellishments for the flower centers
and added my sentiment to finish.

Here's my card!
After I colored this cutie image with Copic
marker, I fussy cut it out. A wonderful
sunburst die cut added just the right touch.
I loved the sentiment to go along with
this image. I used a sparkle pen to
color the candy wrapper.
