MFP Stamps Challenge 16
Different Card - use TUTORIAL
(Joy Fold)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

As usual I followed the tutorial to create
this Joy Fold card. I'm not happy with how the
colors photographed because they look off.
Actually they all DO match. lol It's always
a simple card when you have a tutorial to
follow. I picked out my papers first. I decided
to use a double-sided designer cardstock for
the main fold. I just colored my butterfly
with Copic markers and, after cutting it out,
I used mounting tape to raise it up.
Thanks for stopping by!

I used MFP stamp sets

"Hello Butterfly"
and
" Animal Birthdays"

Technique Challenge - use TUTORIAL
(Faux Patina)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I followed the technique to create my card.
Go figure. hehe. I used a pasley embossing
folder and sponged on some green and deep
purple inks. Then I added VersaMark, as
stated in tutorial, and then gold embossing
powder and heat set. I die cut a fancy oval and
sponged on some of the same deep purple ink.
I attached all my layers. I stamped my lily, using
VersaMark and heat embossed that in gold
too. I colored the image using the same
background inks and a blender pen. I
touched up a bit of the color using my Copics.
Once completed I cut it out and raised it
up using mounting tape and that was it.
Thanks for looking and be sure to join
in the Challenge!!

I used MFP stamp set

"Tiger Lily"

MFP Stamps Challenge 14
CAS - Rain
Cards can not have more than 1 other full layer
besides the card base. There needs to be a one stamped
image as your focal point. There needs to be lots
of white or open space.

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I made a block of clouds, using a black ink,
stamping off once then stamping twice to
to create the layer look of clouds. I stamped
the boot and colored it using Copic markers.
I cut it out and added it to the card and then
used a clear lacquer to create a vinyl look
for the boots. I added my sentiments and
that was it!

Stamp I used from MFP is:

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 287

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 287
- Round n Round (circle cards) -

Here's my card for the design team.
I chose a very pretty white lace for this card. I
picked out my main background cardstock and
went from there. I used a lacy die cut for the
main focal point and my sentiment. It was just
layering my cardstocks and adding the ribbon.
The lacy oval was raised using mounting tape.
I added a few matching flowers (colors are
slightly off in photo) and some pretty pearls.
I did sponge a bit of a matching blue ink in the
oval before I stamped my sentiment.
Sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers.

Color Challenge Week - GREEN
The weekly color must be the main color.
(White, black and one other color may be used)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I love gingham checks so this green was just perfect!
I layered it on black. I colored my cute little tree frog
with Copic markers and cut him out and added some
googly eyes. I attached him to the card. I then die cut
out a speech bubble and added the sentiments. I
mounted that up, for dimension, using mounting tape.
That's it. So snappy.

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 4
I took a white panel and stamped my tiger.
Naturally I used my Copics to color him. lol
I did some lines around the edge to break up
the stark white. I used a light gray to outline
the tiger. Stamped my image and added a
"tiger" button and twine. I embossed half of
my black panel and pieced my card together.

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.
I used:
"Big Cats Mastered"

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 2
I masked a horizon and added my inks, blue
for the water and a yellow for my "morning"
sky. I next stamped my reeds/cattails. I added
my ducks next. For the reflection I did something
different than I normally do...ready? lol I put
the stamp on my block UPSIDE down.
Meaning the detail part was against the block
and the flat part was what I inked. I
stamped off several times to give a light
enough reflection. Adding my sentiment and
some layers and that's it!

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.
I used:
"Marsh Silhouettes"

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 1
I stamped and colored my wolf (using Copics)
and the tore it out, leaving an edge. I sponged
some green and black inks to the edges. I stamped
the trees several times, in black, some
without re-inking to give a faded look for
dimension. I took a green and a tan Copic
to add to the trees. I stamped my sentiments
and used mounting tape to raise the wolf
for added dimension. Cardstock layers
completed the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.
I used:

"Big Trees"
"North American Woods"
" Tree Scene"

I followed the technique to create my card, with a few
slight alterations on what direction I wanted it to open.
I ran the main white card through my Vagabond using
an embossing folder. I colored my flower with Copics
and cut it out, attaching it to the front with mounting
tape and stamped my sentiment to complete the card.
I attached the white to some layered cardstocks of
different colors. And...DONE!

daubers to apple my rosy colors for the background.
I stamped my images in black and, taking a white gel pen,
dotted around the images. I added a ribbon and twine. I
made a tag, sponging on matching rosy inks before
stamping my Hello. A few layers and the card is complete!

First of all I stamped my bunny, partially off the card.
I stamped it again and cut it out to use for a mask. Then
I stamped my flowers, masking my bunny. I colored
everything using Copics and stamped my sentiment.
I used a scoring board to score an edge part way around
the white edge. Layered it on a pretty turquoise CS
and that was it. Oh how I love CAS cards!!
