Balloon Kitty

Morning Folks!
Thursday again already - I swear that time is going faster and faster lately!!
This weeks challenge at CRAFT is to make a project using this photo as your inspiration:

We have two sponsors for this challenge, Truly Madly Crafty and Floppy Latte designs!!

As soon as I saw our design picture I knew that I wanted to use this cute little Penny Black stamp that has been in my collection for ages, it's called Fun Times.
The layout is quite CAS, seems to be a theme with me lately - LOL!! The papers are from a Daisy & Dandelion pack - I'm still trying to use up old stash and resist buying scrummy new papers!!

I've coloured the kitty with promarkers and added some glossy accents to the balloon.

Thanks for looking and I hope you're inspired to join us over at CRAFT this week!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Allsorts - Keep it simple
Paper Sundaes - Anything goes
Pennys paper Crafting - Anything goes
Inky Impressions - Punches or dies (used nesties)
Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes

Make a wish ....

Hi Folks!
Hope everyone is OK?? I've finally managed to make my card for the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge , they are celebrating their 3rd Birthday - Congratulations girls!!

I'm not sure what's up with me, it seems to have taken me all day to get this card made, somehow I just couldn't make up my mind about anything today - anyone else have that problem?? Anyway after a lot of faffing around I'm quite pleased with the end result. The stamp is one that I was lucky enough to win in the 100th Challenge hop at HM&F Mondays. It's called 'Make a wish' and is just so cute and suitable for all birthdays!!

Looking at the photo, Mrs Indecisive is now thinking of adding some glitter to the cupcake....
umm, think I'll do that in a bit along with the blog hop!!

I'd also like to enter this into these challenge too:

The Sweet Stop - Sketch
2 sisters challenge - Gingham or plaid
Stampin' for the weekend - What a cutie
Sweet Stampin' - Anything goes

Bingo time!!

Morning Folks!!
We have a fun challenge for you over at Here Come the Boys this time, a Bingo board with plenty of great combinations for you to choose from:

We are sponsored by my team mate Teresa who has provided this great prize:

I had lots of ideas in my head for this one but eventually settled for making my first ever tent card, using a never before inked up LOTV stamp - I know disgraceful!!

In case you're wondering I've used the top row of the grid:
String (to make the rope)
Blue papers &
Die Cut - aperture

Here's a closer look at the string being used as the rope swing and the image:

The 'Happy birthday' stamp is from a Popcorn the Bear set I think and the 'Have fun' stamp is also from LOTV.
Thanks for looking today and I hope you'll join us at HCTB

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Totally Gorjuss - Nothing square about me

A recipe challenge....

Morning Folks!
I hope your week is going well!! I'm expecting it to be a busy few days, my 'little' boy is 12 today - my goodness where did the time go.....???

This week at C.R.A.F.T. we have a recipe challenge for you:
2 ribbons
1 circle and
3 squares

We are sponsored by Fantastic ribbons

So some lovely prizes on offer!!

I was a little pushed for time when I made this card so I've used a very handy pre coloured Lili of the Valley image for the first time - I quite like them although I did miss the colouring stage!!

Here's a closer look at the roses which I got from Ewe2cancraft :

The papers are an assortment from my scraps box, the small squares are MME but I'm not sure about the script background!!
Thanks for visiting today
I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Creatalicious challenge: Anything goes
Cute card Thursday: Anything goes
DigiDoodleShop: Autumn Colours

You're 2!!

Hi Folks!
This weeks theme over at C.R.A.F.T. is children and we have two great sponsors for this challenge:

and

Both sponsors are offering gift vouchers to their shops!!
I have used some Forever Friends decoupage to make a quick card, the backing paper is quite old and I can't remember who makes it! The number 2 embellishment is a chipboard number painted with acrylic paint and then coated with glitter and Mod podge to give it some gloss!
Thanks for looking and hope you can join us for this challenge.

Autumnal New Home

Morning Folks!
It's the last day of my long summer holidays today and to be honest I'm worse than the kids about going back to school tomorrow!!

AUTUMN

is the theme over at Lexi's Creations and although it is not my favourite time of year I do love autumn colours!! For my card this time I have coloured Lexi's Mushroom Ladybug image with promarkers and used papers by My Mind's Eye and scraps from my box.

The edges have been distressed and I printed out the sentiment
onto a piece of recycled envelope!
The key charm is from Jolee's and the card candi is from Craftwork cards.

Thanks for looking and hope you can join us over at Lexi's Creations this fortnight!

Goldfish Shaker

Afternoon Folks!
I'm afraid that I am a bit late posting my card today for the new challenge over at Here Come the Boys, life just gets in the way sometimes!!
We have quite a challenging challenge for you this time, we'd like to see

SLIDER OR SHAKER CARDS

Now I have to admit that this did get a few of the DT in a flap, me included !!
My last shaker card ended up in the bin when half the glitter stuck to the tape - aaarrrggghh!
Anyway this time I did some research and found a fab tutorial which uses funky foam instead of dst and I found it much easier and actually liked the result!! The cute image is by Kenny K and I have used clear micro accent beads inside.

Thanks for looking and hope you'll join us at HCTB!!
