Victoria & Vancouver, Canada

Shortly after having Davis I wasn't feeling like myself.  I felt like a worn out zombie who didn't have an identity.  Oliver let me plan a trip, to help us get in the habit of keeping our interests and just bringing baby along.  We have been wanting to visit Canada and specifically British Colombia for a while, so we decided to book a trip the last week of June.  It ended up being a really great trip.

We flew into Victoria and stayed at the beautiful Empress.  We were in Victoria for 3 days and then we ferried over to Vancouver.

Having tea at the Empress.

My favorite part of Victoria was the Butchart Gardens.  Astounding!  I've never been in such a gorgeous (man made) place.

We went on this neat hiking trail in Sooke.

We stayed in a really great condo in Vancouver.

Walking around Stanley Island.

Capistrano Suspension Bridge

The farmer's market at Granville Island was amazing.

It rained one of the days that we were there, so we went to the Aquarium.  The jelly fish exhibit was stunning.

The food in Vancouver was the real star.  So many amazing restaurants!

Davis was the best traveler the entire trip!
