Birthdays, Trips and Snow

Well, yet again another month (and more) has passed since an update.  I'll keep it short and sweet.

We celebrated Grandma O's birthday and had a nice time. Jude learned how to say Happy Birthday which sounded like "happy beedai" but it made Grandma happy!

Jude and I just got back from a quick trip to Iowa to visit my family. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed seeing everyone! We were sad Ross couldn't join us but he was with us in spirit :) Jude did great on both flights, slept like a champ, and even though he didn't nap at all the last two days, he was barely fussy. He was very well behaved and I was proud of him!

The newest family member, Allisyn! She's a sweet heart

Grandpa and his great grandkids!

We got our first snow this morning - after it was 80 degrees two days ago! It rained first and when it started snowing I knew it would be a heavy one. There are so many big branches down in the neighborhood. The tree in the front yard had some branches that were touching the ground this morning. Those branches were about a foot in front of my car! I'm glad I didn't pull any farther forward yesterday when I got home. I spent the first nap time today shoveling and knocking the snow off the branches to avoid disaster!

Jude enjoyed playing in the snow for his first time! We may venture out a little later today but he has to nap first...and he's currently avoiding it like the plague!

We're looking forward to going to a Little Gobblins Halloween party this weekend and enjoying a family weekend at home. The holidays will be here before you know it! (read: craziness and mayhem that doesn't end).
