It's that time again to start up our playgroup days. Yay!!! During the winter months, we will have mostly in-home playgroups. Hopefully, the weather will warm up soon so we can do more outside activities. :) Hope to see you all there!

Need and Extra Hand?

Ladies,
Some of you may know Betty Ann Horne's daughter, Lindsay. She recently graduated from college and while she is looking for full time work in her field, she is hoping to keep busy by helping out wherever she can! Here is her information:

Housecleaning: $20.00 per hour (flexible depending on what someone desires to have done)

Babysitting: $8-$12 per hour (depending on age and number of children)

Sarah Smith is cleaning out her house in preparation for moving to Chicago at the end of the summer :( Although we are super sad to see her leave, we know it is what is best for their family! Sarah is having a garage sale coming up really soon, and wanted to let you all know that if you have anything you want to sell or even if you want to come by and shop, everyone is welcome! If you do want to bring some things to sell, contact Sarah about the best time to drop them off.

New Additions, New Schedule, and SWIMMING!

Ladies,
We have had the blessing of growing yet again in our playgroup! We welcome Ruth S. & her daughter Claire, along with Courtney M. and her to-be-born baby boy! They have each been added to a rotation, so check out the "Calendar" page to make sure that you include them on your hosting-reminder emails!

The August-September-October calendar is in the works, so if you want to be added as a host, taken off as a host, or have any dates that you know will not work for you, go ahead and send those to me at

And lastly, Tina A. has offered her backyard pool to our playgroup. All we have to do is pick a date or two and we are swimmin'! So, let's take a poll and see what works best for everyone. We'll try to get at least two dates on the calendar so she can plan! E-mail details will be sent shortly.

Affordable Babysitting, House Cleaning & Piano Lessons!

Many of you may know the Haley family in our church. Hannah and her brother Hunter, are trying to fill their summer schedules with productive time serving our church body. They are offering babysitting, house cleaning and piano lessons all at very reasonable prices! Here are some specifics about their services:

Babysitting: Certified Safesitter babysitter. $7.50/hour 

H&H's Cleaning:  "We get it done fast and the sparkle will last!" $12/hour 

Hannah's Piano Studio: Weekly piano lessons; Gladly accepting students over age 6!   $7/hour for 30 min. lesson   $10/hour for 45 min. lesson

The Traveling Medicine Show @ Tanglewood!

This is from Teresa Lynch. Her daughter Sierra, is in vet school at UGA, and the Christian Veterinary Fellowship is going to Arizona on a mission trip later this summer. They are having this event at Tanglewood Farm's Wild West Town to help raise funds. Here are the details:

The Traveling Medicine Show is Coming to Tanglewood Farm’s Wild West Town!

When: April 28^th from 10am- 5pm (last tickets sold at 4pm)

Where: Tanglewood Farm Miniatures (171 Tanglewood Drive, Canton, GA 30115)

Admission: $15 per person

Children’s admission includes admission to petting zoo plus food to feed the animals, a pony ride, face painting, and a goody. Infants under 12 months are free.

On April 28^th UGA’s Christian Veterinary Fellowship will be holding an old fashioned carnival to raise money for their annual summer mission trip. The vet students and local veterinarians travel to the Apache and Navajo nations of Arizona to minister to the people and provide much needed veterinary assistance.
