My Baby Brock a Tooth!

Yesterday was Park day for my ward, but like park day two weeks ago that Paige and I went to we were the only one's their! Now that we live in Henderson we have 3 parks that are with in a mile of our house its crazy, but grate they are all really good parks. So we were playing at the Cinnamon Ridge Park which consist of playing on the slid and swings a lot then we decided to have snack time. After we had snacks at the picnic table Paige decided to climb a ladder on the play ground it was the kind that make me nervous they are mettle and go strate up then arch at the end and the bars are shaped in a u shape and when you get to the top the ladder flattens out at the top do you know the one I'm talking about?  Paige is really careful about that she does so she only goes up half way and decide its to scary so she comes back down to the last step which is only a inch off the ground. I walk over next to her and I tell her to be careful right after that he foot slips and she hits her face on the bar and starts crying. I first grab her and give her a big hug and then I check to see if her teeth are OK they are not she is missing a pretty good chunk of her front tooth and then it starts to bleed. know I'm freaking out I call Ben to tell him what happened and we run to the bathroom to get a toilet paper for the blood. Then I preceded to try to find her tooth but I did not find it. I called my dentist who recommended me to a Pediatric Dentist  Maryam Sina who said they could see me in 20mins.

 I don't know about you but I hated the dentist when I was a kid and still don't love it. So I made the mistake of tell Paige we were going to the Dr to get her tooth fixed which makes her go into a big crying fit, but half way their she happy-ed up enough for me to snap a photo of her at a red light with my phone. When we got there from the min we walked in the door I was in love with this office and staff. Paige opened right up to them showing her tooth and telling them what happened and she got to watch a movie while I filled out the paper work. When they took us back she got stickers and then the hard part came.We had to get a photo of Paige's tooth the ex-ray paper was really big and made her gag a lot, but we finally got her to hold it with her teeth. After that it was smooth sailing . Paige loved seeing her teeth on the computer and then we meet  Dr Maryam she let Paige pick out a Barbie Dall to play with and take home. I loved how she explained to Paige what she was going to do. I'm going to paint your tooth blue with my little brush and then I'm going to put a band aid on your tooth and then were going to use a magic fairy princes wand with a blue light and you'll be all better and that's how it went!

Paige had fun telling everyone what happened at the park and at the dentist. Also showing off her Dall. We'll go back in 10 day to get it fixed for real when the tooth has time to heal and she'll get another Dall when we go Paige is supper excited! Painting the Chicken Coop

On our way home from our trip to Carson City we stopped at my parents to spend our last day of our extended weekend that Monday the Girls painted the Chicken Coop. Ben had said if I make it the Girls meaning me and Mom and Connie would have to paint it well it took us all summer to get it done but we did it with the help of Paige and Shay. They had a blast!

Family Vacation Part 4

This is our last day on our Family we decided to go explore Genoa a small Mormon settled town this is what we did.

We paid $1.00 to get in this little cabin to see all this really old great stuff and read about the history of the town. I know were dorks but we had lots of fun!

This Piano was halled all the way for back east its so pretty I wanted to take it home with me. We learned about the first Women Dr. in Nevada or in that town at least.

This is a Butter Churn I really want one of these for my house and I do want to use it as well! I like to have old decor like that but it also has to have a purpose for encase of an emergency. Do I sound crazy?

This is an old mouse trap that I thought was way cool I wish they still made these!

Ben reading about the pony express and how it was replaced by the railroads. if you notice this horse looking thing in the front my grandpa gave one to my brother Cody it is for working leather.

I thought this was fun they were selling a copy for a dollar, but the tips are really fun if you cant read it click on the photo to make it bigger its worth reading.

I just had to take photos of how green it was and the old trees it was just so pretty and GREEN! The north part of NV is a lot different then the south.

This is The Genoa Court House its a Museum now we didn't go in maybe next time.

We went for a walk around the town people were having weddings every were I guess its a big place to get married at they have small old church or garden weddings. We played at a Park and then got ice cream it was really expensive but it was a fun thing to do with Paige she loved it!

Then we took a drive around the rest of town because i saw this house over the fence at the museum and really wanted to see it. We think all the house have to look like this old Victorian I was in love!

We headed back to explore Carson and got lost trying to find the Goveners Mansion, but found a waterfall one of my favorite things in the whole world.

We meet a older man walking his dog how had lived in las vegas his whole life and then move his family to Carson city. This dog was Huge I mean Huge! Paige was not sure she like him.

It was a fun little hick not hard at all

and our reward was grate! To bad kids like to come up hear and spray paint.

Paige loved it and so did we.

It was a good ending to our day

Family Vaction Part 3

OK I know I'm really behind but I'm going to try to get all my post done for the year 2011. Part 3 for our vacations. Day 2 Ben went to see a work friend and drive around with him all day and see job sites so. Paige and I spent the day with Sabrina Lytle and her girls. Her ward had a play date planned to go to a pumpkin patch and spend the day. I do have to admit this was one thing on my list that I had to do while I was in Reno. They had fun little games for the kids to play and in the Barn they even had dress ups. 

Lucky us today was free Hay Rides! Paige was not sure if she wanted to go but she loved it in the end.

I love love it! Someone in Alamo should do this ever year!

I love that this family farm is just five mins from Sabrina house but it still looks like its in the country!

 With our admission we got to pick out one small pumpkin for free so Paige got to go pick out one that she liked and pick it.

This photo I had to put in Sabina is on the left looking and the girl on the left is Sabrina's friend. Paige does not know her at all everyone started to walk away so paige just grabs her hand like she is her best friend and when Sabrina friend looks down to see who has her hand she has no idea who this kid is. That's why she is laughing. pretty funny because if you know my Paige she will not go to anyone she does not know. Sorry I have forgotten Sabrina's friend name so I have to keep on calling her that Ha ha will she later told me that all kids are like that with her even so much that they will poop at her house I thought that was so funny!

Family Vacation Part 2

When we went back to Sam and Tiff's house we had lunch and they left to go spend the weekend in Alamo. They left us their key and we had a nice furnished house for the weekend thanks again you guys so much! After we got up from our afternoon nap we decided to go to lake Tahoe and enjoy the water and and sand! It is only 20 mins from Carson City that  is shorter then my husbands drive to work everyday!

 Paige was so excited to go the the lake and play in the sand, but I forgot to pack our pool bag with all the toys so we had to borrow some of  Jason's sand toys. Thanks Jason.

 This trip I have been playing with my new lens  I have been loving it hear is a shot of your foot prints in the sand. Paige Ben and me.

 The one bad thing of always taking the photo's you are never in them right but we did find with me new lens  we can take a photo with me in it witch I would not do with my old one. New Lens is a 17-55 mm  2.8 f tamron  this Len's is my new favorit Portraiture lens

While we are sitting we had wild duck land and walk right up to us looking for food Ben keep saying he had never seen duck do that before. Later when we got back home we found out you can take a steam fairy boat across the lake to see a castle I wish we could have done that but will just have to go back!   

 I love these Photo's I don't care if  anyone else does, but I love them! They might make there way into our house one day.

This was a nice end to your day I wish I would have been in this photo to but I did't have room for my tripod and I forgot my minnie one I'll have to try to remember that one next time. We went back to Carson found a Smiths and went food shopping and went back to the town home and enjoyed our dinner.
