{MB'S PiRraTe BiRtdDaY!}

 ONe of MB's favorite TV shows is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. So we decided to have a pirate party and it was a lot of fun!

She's a serious Pirate here...

I have this ship I pull out once a year for the Thanksgiving month. It's the Mayflower, but I bought the Neverland Characters and placed them on. She thought it was all new stuff {well the ship that is}

Here is one of the foods we served. It was Pirate Map Quesidilla's. I loved them and they were so tasty.

We generally have our parties just as a family, but Since the Jones always come over after school and give them a Birthday present we thought we should just have them over for the party too. Bro. Jones came later because he was at work but in fact we came with a garbage bag {not lying} full of toys. On top of the already nice outfit from Macy's and Fur REal Large puppy.

Here's MB opening her presents...

ONe of her favorites.. Got to stick with the theme! Pirate Puzzle from Grandpa.

Right when MB finished unwrapping all her presents. Bro Jones walked through the door and looked like Santa Claus. He had presents for everyone. I couldn't stop laughing I was so overwhelmed. They are such a sweet generous family, and I always tell them I would like you the same without all gifts too. It interesting to me how some people share their love and different ways. the book The 5 love Languages taught me that and the most important thing to notice and how people share their love and except it as love. So I'm excepting these gifts as love even though they were unnecessary but I will also admit it was sure fun watching my kids eyes get so big with excitement.

Bro. Jones came right at the perfect time..

 What a fun night!

{Fall Funs}

 My little Mason who escapes every time the door opens. He loves the outdoors.

 Here is an October meal we had. The meatloaf was supposed to be tombstone but fell down. Still cute and fun to eat.

Picking real pumpkin to eat. Who needs a can of pumpkin and you have the real thing! This is Cynthia JOnes. Our sweet Cynthia has us over all the time to pick her veggies in the garden. So much fun for all of us.

{Activity Days- Dressing Modestly& then some}

 Here is a blanket, burp clothes, and diaper wipe case I made for my SIL's new baby.

 and this actually deserves a post of it's own but because I'm way behind here it is...

{Montauk Apple Picking}

One thing you can't miss out on in NY is Apple Picking. This year we headed EAst to the end of the Island to Montauk. We seriously picked the best HOney Crisp Apples in my whole life. They were so yummy. Christy Anderson invited us to go so we all piled in her car. We also invited our new friends at the time the Hunters who are now such great friends. They moved here from Staten Island and is doing a residency in Brooklyn but he commutes in. YAY we are so happy for more friends and who are members of our church.
Here are the Hunters back-hinds

and of course fall is not complete without buying a warm apple cidar doughnut! YEs. I hardly was able to save the last one for Jon and some how I did.
They had wheel barrows to carry your pumpkins. I figure my little pumpkins were my kids!!!

{A New School Year}

I still can't believe Addison is a 1st Grader. She's suppose to be a Kindergartner. Even though I felt like piece letter her start last year it still doesn't change that she's growing up too fast and I lose a year being with her. Emberlynn will be the same she will start next year because her birthday is at the end of October. She will be young for her grade but I think she will hang with the big kids. I know Addison is doing really well.

As for Alix she started at a new school. They break the schools up k-2nd and 3rd-5th in Malverne. Again I am feeling a panic of feeling I'm loosing my kids. How could this be happening. I guess I just thought they would be babies all the time.

Like always the "magic school bus" dropped something off for the all the girls. Addison ran down so quickly after taking her bath as she remembered.

I made pancakes for each of the kids with their grades on them.

Good Luck this Year!!!
