{Happy Birthday Jon}

Jon's Birthday came again! The girls all helped make his birthday fun. We made some breakfast for him in the morning.

We made this sign and the kids decorated! Fun times.

 Jon's Birthday Cake from the one and only Malverne's Bakery Shop. The best bakery ever. Nancy and David Jones brought this over along with some ice-cream.

 Watch out the house is on FIRE!

{End of School Year Events}

Here are some gifts that we made to say Thank you for a great year!

 How did my girls get so big?

{Fellowship Interview in Georgia}

So this is the a big reason why I wish I was updated on my blogging cause now I have to think about 2 years. This is what when Jon had an interview with Georgia Regents University to work under the direction of Dr. David Terris MD. I remember how nervous we were. We had my dad give him a blessing before we headed down. There were only two Head & Neck and Endocrine Surgery Fellowships in the Nation, so this was a big deal. When Jon got his blessing it said something that I will never forget. My dad blessed him that he would do good on his interview and many works then he said and not even two years have I forgotten these exact words. It said, "Rest assure, no matter where you go, know that is EXACTLY where the Lord wants you to be."

Jon and I thought for the moment maybe it's not Georgia, but it was and it is fun looking back on these photos knowing they are our stopping grounds now. Here are some photos from Jon's phone that he took. I told him to take the selfie! Well it's nice to know the interview went well and Jon got the fellowship. He was the first DO and the first General Surgery this program has ever taken.  They have loved Jon so much that Dr. Terris has decided to interview more DO's and General Surgeons {rather than ENT}. Jon your a rockstar! Like I said I wish I was able right down my feelings then so I could of read them now, knowing what I know now. If only I could of told myself "don't worry things will work out." I do remember the call we got from Dr. Terris that morning. We thought it would happen later in the day of the match, but he called us and Jon came to me and calmly said, "I got it." No screams, just cries so humble that the Lord is in complete control and that he loves us. We both were truly humble.

{Fire Island Lighthouse}

Before the Behunins headed out we had to take them to a light house.  While they were traveling up in the lighthouse we stayed below.

 I took pictures of Emberlynn then she took pictures of me.

This is the eastern life. I love those little toes. I have a feeling I will look at these in the future and think...what happen to those little toes.

They finally made it to the top!

Awards Day and Field Day & When I Grow Up Speech !

Here was Alix's award ceremony. She won so may for All County Chior. NYSMA Piano and vocals. She also stood up for participating in the play "Annie"

It was so fun to see her stand up for so many things like the play participation and her awards. She was such a star.

Field day was fun too. Addison was so aggressive and tried her best. I loved seeing her try so hard. She is so fast and good. Because we were at the camping Alix didn't get to sign up for the events she was in so we seriously only saw her to maybe two things. I was pretty upset about that cause she could of easily joined in other events. Mason got tickled by grandpa. He loved that.

Here was Addison & Alix's cheering section. Go Addison & Alix!!!

Here's Alix's turn and her only event running backwards for 20 meters if that. I felt so bad that she wasn't there when they picked the events but Alix of course still and always has a smile on her face. Who knows maybe she was happy about it.

Field Day was pretty hot so after the kids got home from school we headed to the beach!

The next day we went back to the school to listen to Addison's speech on "When I Grow Up" I have this all recorded so you will have to watch it and notice she never made a mistake and her speech was amazing. Ms. DiCarlo told me that Addison wrote it all by herself. I think Addison is a better writer then me, well that's not saying much but here's was amazing. She looked professional up there and in my opinion she was the best up there.  Addison wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Flawless speech! I think it's safe to say after today that she most definitely can be a teacher if that's what she wants to be.

I couldn't be more proud of this little one. I love her so much. She brings a smile to my face everyday!

After the speeches we had a breakfast party in the classroom. It was so fun to have this party for all there hard work they did. Everyone did a great job. Here are some friends above.

We also took the Behunins to the Zoo while they were here. I guess this was the only picture I took of the day.

After that we came home and had a Graduation Ceremony for Emberlynn's Pre-K Class that she missed while we were camping. It was fun to do it at the house. She felt very special.

Alix got her a graduation present. Alix is always thoughtful when it comes to things like this. She amazes me how she thinks of others before herself.

We got a cake from Malvery Bakery---Of course and Kristie was so sweet to make these graduations caps and diplomas for the her party.
