Super Dad
Right now this Super Dad does just about everything for us. He is such a hard worker, a great Dad and buddy to our boys, and (yes I'm going to get cheesy for a minute) my best friend and the love of my life. He continually works on ways to help out more, even though he is barely here with his new job and full time school. He takes time to listen to me and loves being involved in the boy's everyday things as much as he can. Thank you for all you do for us Super Dad, we love you!

Brothers
We finally made the switch to big boy bunk beds... Chase is sleeping on the top since it has a side rail and Owen was happy to take the bottom bunk. They have had more fun making forts, climbing up and down the ladder and playing with their toys up on the top bunk. It's been a fun change.
Owen loves to cuddle with Trevor, and loved that I put Trevor in his bed with him.
I love how Chase and Owen are just best friends right now. They play together so well for the most part, and it's only getting better as Chase learns to say more things and communicate better.
I don't know what they would do without each other!

My Boys
I love my boysies so much! I made this a few days back and loved going back in time a little and looking at baby pictures of Owen and Chase at Trevor's age.

My 6 Month Old
He sure loves his tongue! |
The funny arch he does to get a better look at stuff behind him. |
Hurray! We made it to six months! CeLeBrAtE! hehe. Every month is just flying by now and Trevor seems to be on some kind of race to grow faster and catch up with his big brothers.
Things Trevor is doing at 6 Months:
*He can turn 360 degrees in his exersaucer
*Recently decided he hates his bumbo seat. He likes to arch his back and look at things upside-down, it's kind of funny.
*Jumps like a mad-man in his over the door in his jumper swing
*He loves sleeping on his back now and chews on his soft blanket to fall asleep
*Discovered his feet a few week ago, and thinks they are very entertaining toys
*Kind of sitting up, he still leans foreword too much to be on his own, but he is starting to get the hang of it.
*Loves sticking out his tongue (as you can see from all the pictures.)
After my last sad sob story post about not getting sleep, Trevor and Chase went back to sleeping normally again. So GRATEFUL! Just when I thought I was about to lose my sanity... Trevor is a good sleeper once again and I am really enjoying my un-broken sleep. Yes I know I'm a baby, but I just cope so much better if I get a full night's sleep. Trevor is sleeping a 9 1/2-10 hour night these days, which I am kind of trying to adjust to. I keep waking up so full in the morning even though he eats a lot before bed. Right now I feed him at 9:00 and he wakes up between 6:30 and 7AM. I am working on slowly moving his 9:00 feeding back to 7 or 8pm and that would be his last feeding of the night.
Trevor is so much fun right now. He loves watching Owen and Chase run around all day playing their little games. He still loves nursing and that is going well other than I've never really been able to get this guy on a consistent routine. I hadn't exclusively breastfed the other two boys this long, so I kind of attribute it to breastfeeding/his own personality. I think he is just different in his own cute way than my other boys. He has the whole eat, play, sleep thing down pretty well. And he eats about every 3-1/2-4 hours most days, but eating and napping just never really happen at the same time every day. And he often throws me curve-balls and wants to eat every couple of hours, or won't go to sleep even though he is really tired and fussy.
But, I really want to nurse him and I figured the random extra eating is probably good for my milk. And he is growing like crazy too. So I've been just going with the flow even though some stability in his routine would be VERY nice some days.
I SO love this little guy!

New Year Updates
So far this year I am feeling a little behind. I actually did not celebrate New Years. I took Benadryl for an allergic outbreak and went to bed at 5:30 completely exhausted thinking I would only take an hour nap, haha, wrong! Brad was sweet to take over for the night and next morning cause I was out cold till 8:30 the next morning. Hmmm let's see, is that because I'm just a little sleep deprived?? I would definately say yes.
This last month or so has been so rough! Let's just call it Tirza's nightly zombie walking caused by children who do not sleep. Seriously, what in the world is going on with my kids? I don't know if it's the breasfeeding, or just Trevor, but he has either been waking up screaming at 2:30 AM or ravenously hungry at 5 AM. Either way, it is so not fun. About the time he starts sleeping again till 6:30 or 7AM, Chase will wake up during the night or at 5 AM wanting to get up and play for some reason. And if you tell him no, he has a fit like no other and of course wakes up my finally sleeping again Trevor. Ahhhh I feel like I'm going to go insane some days.
I don't want to sit here and complain about my kids, but I could though... And then maybe I'd feel just a little better for a while. There has been some days though that I have gotten pretty down and questioned my ability to be a mom to three!! I want to have more children and the days I struggle and am sleep deprived make me sad that I am having such a hard time with only three!!
On the up-side...life is starting to seem more exciting in so many ways. I feel like we are making progress as a family towards goals we've made. Brad got a REAL job in September where he can use his drafting skills and we can live like normal people. Haha. I mean real cause it's consistent, has benefits, no crazy boss's taking advantage of him, etc. I am really proud of him, and there is so much potential for growth within the company when he done with school. I hope he can stay with this company for a long time!
We've also mapped out his schooling and he will be done next summer/maybe fall. But then it's on to the decision to continue school or not. But the thought of that makes me kind of depressed cause I seriously love it here and want to make this our home home after he graduates. And we'd most likely have to move to continue his schooling in the program he needs.
Another happy thing this month, is that I finally made it out to the gym! Haha. Now that my baby is almost six months old. I love running and working out and so far I've been able to go twice a week this month. The kid center is great there and it gives me a little break once in a while!
Well....it's a new year, and even though I didn't make any New Year's Resolutions, I know it will be a great year despite the way I started it! Let's just hope I can get through this crazy stage of adjusting to three kids and live to tell the story. Lol.
Hope everyone had a wonderful new year!

Happy Jumper
This boy loves his bouncer swing! And that's probably an understatement. |
He also loves his feet and his hands. As you can see, one hand is in his mouth and the other has a hold of a foot! This day he was so cute rolling around on his play mat making cute da-da-da sounds. |

Getting Blog Updates
So the one thing I don't like about the private blogs is that people can't see when you update your blog so then they never know when to check if you have a new post.
So if you add this blog http://ourcrazyfunfamilynew.blogspot.com/ to your list of blogs you follow then you will see when we update. But you will still have to go to our private blog to read the post.
Happy Blogging!

Faces of Trevor
Trevor is sure a funny little guy. Right now he loves playing with his baby toys, bouncing in his jumper swing, and sticking his tongue out! Babies are so much fun at this stage. I always get to this stage and think that I should have another baby. But then I end up talking sense to myself and after a few more months go by, I am always so glad I wait longer. haha.
He loves to cuddle, roll over, wake up in the middle of the night (not loving that one), play with his feet and hands and watch his brother's play.
Love this little guy...

I will turn comment moderation on so no one will see your email but me. :)

Christmas
Christmas was so much fun! We got to hang out with Corrine and Brandon (Brad's sister and her husband from Colorado) the week before Christmas after Trevor's blessing. They have two girls around Owen and Chase's age and Baby Gavin who's two months older than Trevor.
We did some fun things around Reno that week, got some chatting time in, made some yummy treats and the cousins played non-stop! Thursday before Cmas, we headed to Fallon and stayed there at Brad's uncle's house while he was out of town. We had fun cooking and wrapping presents and relaxing by the fire waiting for Christmas to come!
Christmas Eve the kids made gingerbread men and trees, decorated their own way and then in the end made one big tree! They had fun and we enjoyed eating it for the next few days.
Ta-da!Christmas eve the kids got in their new jammies and danced around the house. They thought it was so fun wearing their new pajamas. This year I didn't get them Christmas pajamas, but I figured they can wear them all year.
Trevor was already in bed for the night, so he missed out on getting some pictures taken. I love Christmas eve, how excited the kids are for santa to come and everyone is so happy! It was a lot of fun being with family this year too.
Since we weren't staying at grandma and grandpa's house, we would get up early in the morning and head over to where all the action was.
It was so cold in Fallon, so we always had to bundle up before we headed over.
We started with stockings and zoo zoo pets since we still had to go to church at 9:00am.
The kids raced their little pets on the floor and opened stocking to bide the time till church.
The kids were being so patient for everyone to be ready to open presents. It was great to be able to go to church and enjoy the Christmas program and visiting with friends and family from Fallon.
The boys found their little corner of presents from Santa at grandma's house and were still patiently waiting to open them!!
Owen was so excited about all of his presents. We missed taking pictures of most of their presents, I'll blame Brad for that. :)
Putting legos together on his new lego table. After a while, even the girls ditched their toys and were playing legos and cars with the boys.
Chase got a lot of cars 2 stuff. I loved watching his reaction to his new toys.
Brad took the pictures and I got some video of the boys, yes we are such a great team. lol
I was so excited for Christmas this year since last year I was throwing up pregnant and missed all of the fun Christmas build up. I was pretty miserable. So this year we shopped early, were able to get gifts for everyone in the family including our family gift exchanged on both sides, and enjoyed cooking and eating good food!
After we got home, even after life got back to normal, the boys were playing non-stop with their new toys. It seemed like for two weeks after, they would only stop playing to eat or go potty, haha.
I'm so grateful for our boys and for the family who could be with us this Christmas.
