Trevor's Blessing

After months and months of waiting for family to be able to get together in the same month and day, we finally had Trevor's baby blessing! It was a wonderful weekend filled with family, love and fun visits. Thank you all for coming!!
The sun was not working so well for us in these pictures. It was so bright it hurt to keep our eyes open. But oh well, at least we have something for the memory!

We got a special visit from Brad's dad and his wife Mary this year because of the blessing. They came a couple of days early and took the boys out for some early Christmas shopping. Owen says how much fun he had with his Grandpa Danny and how much he loves the toys Grandma Mary got for him. We are all a little spoiled from their visit this year. Thanks you two!

Trevor 5 Months (a week ago)

My baby baby baby!!! He is growing way too fast. Yes he is still a baby, but each day, week, month he is reaching new milestones, responding to new things, growing like crazy and always so much fun!

It's hard to express how much I love my little Trevor. I get excited to wake up in the morning just to see his sweet smile and hear his giggles. He is so much fun to talk to cause all he wants is someone to look at him or pay attention to him. It's not hard to make him laugh, just talking to him or looking at him silly will have him giggling up a storm.

I can't believe I was ever sad or depressed about having a 3rd boy. He is seriously an angel baby and I wouldn't trade him for any amount of girls! Owen and Chase talk to him the way I do, all cute and babyish. It's so fun to watch. Owen will pick him up and move him if he is fussing. It's so funny though because most of the time Trevor has a look of terror on his face the whole time. Trevor loves Owen though, every time Owen comes close to Trevor and starts playing or talking to him Trevor gets such a big smile on his face. It's so great to have a 5 year old helper when Trevor needs some attention and I need to get dinner ready or something.

My Smiley little guy
I feel like the last couple of months have been the best in a lot of ways. He and I finally got the breastfeeding thing worked out. He stopped fighting me so much, and in return I started enjoying it so much more. We also got past the stage of going to the pediatrician every 5 seconds. Obviously an exaggeration, but seriously. There are so many dr. appts. the first couple of months. I also love that he is responding to things so much more, he can see so much farther now and keeps himself occupied by playing with his little toys.

What a big boy
A couple of weeks ago I gave him some rice cereal. He loves to eat, so he loved it of course! I haven't given him any fruits or veggies yet, but he eats the cereal two or three times a day and does great!
When we start fruits and veggies I plan to make all of his baby food like I did with Chase. I am looking foreword to it!
I love you Trevor. So glad I get to be your Mommy!

Christmas Card and Pictures

We got our family pictures taken in November so we could send out some Christmas cards this year. I was so happy to have some of all of us including our new little man! I was happy with the way they turned out, these are the only four the photographer gave me for now cause she is so busy with the holidays and her own family. But I added about 10 other favorites of the kids and us on her website.

A little preview of the Cmas card we sent out first of December. We sent out 50 cards and still missed a lot of people! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Love you all!

Christmas is Just Around the Corner!

Right after we got home from our Thanksgiving trip, we got busy putting up Christmas decorations and of course our Christmas tree! The boys make everything so much fun. They were so excited about everything!

We've been enjoying our tree, decorations and pretty lights up on the house. Christmas is so our favorite time of year. :)
The boys played in the tree for days after putting it up. They would play legos and jump their men from branch to branch. Kids are so fun!
Chase wanted to put up all of the ornaments himself, so daddy got the hooks on for him and let him go at it.
Wishing everyone a wonderful, joyful Christmas!

Thanksgiving

So we made the long 8 hour drive to the little town of Jarbidge, Nevada last week. Such a miniature old town, but an amazingly beautiful location! The drive was long with the kids, but the fun we had there with all of the family was well worth it!

Brad had a blast driving his remote control car around and letting the kids take turns driving it. The kids also enjoyed some time at the park, four wheeler rides and some fun adventure walks.

The kids enjoyed time in the snow, and had a ton of fun with their cousins!

Everyone was busy in the kitchen the first day making yummy food. Then we ate till we were stuffed and spent some time relaxing, talking and playing games.

Some pictures of the whole crew there for Thanksgiving. It's fun to see the cousins all becoming great friends. Just wish we were close to family so they could see each other more!

Trevor enjoyed Uncle Leith, was entertained by Cousin Freya and laughed and giggled for Aunt Leigh!
Broe and Beth with Tyler (Chase's age) and new nephew, baby Ammon.

Yes we got to shoot some big guns! I got made fun of a lot since the gun kept kicking me back so much and it looked like I was going to fall over backwards. lol. very funny guys.

Saying goodbye to our cozy little family cabin in the mountains. Goodbye till next time!

4 Months!

Yes it's true, my little newborn is getting so big! We sure love our little Trevor.
At his check-up yesterday, besides getting tons more shots (poor guy), we got to see just how big he is getting!
Height 26 1/4 in. long (90th percentile)
Weight: 16 lbs. 4 oz. (75th percentile)
Head Size: 17 1/4 in. (85th percentile)
So basically he needs to slow down or he is going to outgrow his brothers! haha.

He is a very social little guy, always talking and smiling at everyone!

As far as milestones go this month, he has mastered rolling over. Which he is super happy about, but now not getting very good sleep, so mom's not quite as thrilled. He just loves to roll over as soon as I put him to bed and then he keeps himself awake until he is so frustrated and overtired.
He also loves to giggle and laugh when we talk funny to him.
He loves his brother Owen. Owen is such a great little helper when Chase is sad or needs something.
The boys fight over him, which I think is kind of funny. I don't think that Trevor feels the same way. ;)
