Okay, so I've been getting pretty fed up lately with my pictures, blogging, albums and organization. It seems like blogging has changed a lot these days with all of the social media sites, Facebook, twitter Instagram, etc. and no one really blogs much these days. So I've been debating what to do these last few months, should I just stop blogging all together? Should I just keep posting on Facebook and whatnot? It seems like the easiest thing to do since I can get comments and feedback right away.
Then I started looking through my pictures this last year and realizing since most of them are mobile photos, almost none of them are really picture album worthy. And Facebook/Instagram are all about the phone picture uploads. I also started looking through my blog and realizing all of the awesome memories I have been able to capture for the last several years. I realized blogging has really given me the incentive to keep up with my family photos, stories, fun memories, etc. And I don't feel like I would have done all of that in just trying to make a family photo book or something.
Somehow knowing I'm publishing something people will look at, makes me try harder, and keep up with everything!
So.. I am saying goodbye to my old blog. And my goal is for this next year to really focus on it, keep up with it, put a higher priority on getting good pictures of my kids, not just quick Facebook cell phone photos. I was going to wait until the new year, but I had the motivation now so I am going with it!
Our new blog is thehellyars.blogspot.com
I am currently printing out and going to be completely done posting on this blog, and our new blog will be probably end up being set to private just like this one is. Let me know if you want to keep up with our new blog by commenting on this post or letting me know when you see me (I love keeping up with yours!) and I'll send you an email invite.
Thanks and Happy Blogging!!!

Blogger Books
Although the software for Blurb blog books is slow and tedious to use, I'm happy to at least have gotten 2 years printed out. My next book will be better, but I had been working on this one off and on for a couple of years now, so I was learning a lot. I'm excited though!!

Reno Ace's
Last week we had the night free to take the boys out to an Ace's Game. It was fun to hang out as a family. We enjoyed the game, some treats, walking around and letting the kids play at the park. Go Ace's!
Owen
A couple of weeks ago Owen lost his first tooth! He was so excited! He said he had been waiting and waiting for a tooth to be loose!
He and Chase decided to sleep out in the tent that night, so the tooth fairy had to be extra sneaky and get into the tent without waking the boys up!
Owen starting first grade this year! My little boy is growing up so fast!
He was extra excited this year since he gets to be in the same class as some of his buddies, Travis, Brady, Gryphon and Neiko.
Hope 1st grade is awesome Owen!
Daddy's Work
Some days when the kids and I are running some errands in Reno, we get to stop by Daddy's work and say Hi. The front desk lady loves seeing the kids and always gives them stamps and candy, and the kids love seeing their daddy in the middle of the day. We love you Daddy, grateful for all of the hard work you do for us!
Happy Birthday Chase and Trevor and Fun Cousin Visits
There's not much to add to what the pictures say.. we had a great time, kids loved seeing their cousins, and we didn't want the visit to end! And I can't believe my babies are now 2 and 4. I love you Chase and Trevor!
