Baseball season...here we come!!

The kids were out of school last Friday, so we decided to go with some of the family members to Twin Falls for the weekend to watch Porter (our nephew) play baseball. My brother-in-law, Troy coaches Bonneville baseball and Porter is amazing to watch (he is right now being scouted by several colleges and is in high demand when he gradutates next year). We love Porter! He is the nicest kid! We are so excited to see what happens with his baseball career because he has worked his whole life to perfect his game!

Of course what is the most exciting thing about staying in a hotel...the swimming, of course!!

Keeping warm in the hot tub...the perfect little pool for Bridg.
Harper and Tanner make a big splash!
Tucker pretends to swim (more like dog paddle) and grabs onto the nearest person when he gets tired!
The two La La's being silly in their own world!
Harper and Tanner looking to attack...
Miss Bridget L♥ved swimming! A water bug for sure!

1,2,3...jump!

Sweet baby sound asleep in her little bed...

The best thing about hotel pools?? They WEAR THESE KIDS OUT!! Yes, Tucker does sleep with his arms folded, all the time!

Gooooo Porter! He hit three home runs in four games! What a kid!!

Bridget spends her time doing "cheers" for the crowd!
Tanner and Harper being camera shy.
Mr. Coleman enjoying a beautiful day at the ball field!
The "La La's" in their shorts and sandals (they were told it wouldn't be too warm).
Our Sweet Pea hanging out in daddy's chair and mommy's sunglasses! She is so pleasant and so fun! I love this little sweetheart!
She needed a little nap after all the swimming and staying up late! Doesn't this look comfy?

And Little Miss Brightyn all snuggled up and snoozing away! Her second trip of her life at three weeks old...
Let the season begin...we really enjoy baseball and I am just ready for "baseball weather"!!

National cheer competition

We found out at the beginning of the cheer season that there would be a national competition this year, to be held in Salt Lake!! I was super excited!
Then...I found out I was pregnant, and due just a couple weeks before the comp.! I was determined to go, I HAD to go, wanted to go sooo sooo bad! I would go...
Nine months later, I went!

It was just me and the girls. Matt stayed home with the boys for baseball. I braved the drive by myself with my girls.

Brightyn's first trip, first competition (of many, I'm afraid) and only two weeks old...call me crazy. I prepped her before she was born, so she was ready;) And she did AWESOME!!! Slept most of the day, nursed, slept and didn't make a peep!

Bayli on the left, Hailey on the right competing in a duo category this year. They had so much fun working on this duo and were so nervous for this competition...But...
They did absolutely awesome, spot-on-perfect, every motion, tumbling pass, and entire routine were perfect! I was so proud of them...
They took FIRST PLACE!! They got their jackets which they had dreamed about. So fun!
Not only did Bayli and Hailey get first, every other girl from their team who participated in a solo got first place! WAY TO GO, IFEA!!

Mikayla, Bayli, Hailey, and Rikkayla all show off their banners and jackets...national champs!!!

Brightyn Brooke...a bit o' heaven♥

Our sweet little girl was born just past midnight on February 26th. She came on the day that I had "planned" and our birth experience went exactly as I had "planned" (if there is such a thing)! Everything was perfect and to end the experience with a healthy baby girl and a head full of dark hair made it all worthwhile! I have wanted a girl that looked like Tucker with dark hair, eyes, and skin and that is exactly what we got!

Our first week has been wonderful. My sister and mom were here for the birth, then my sister stayed another week to help with my kids. She did everything and my recovery has been the best ever! I cannot tell her enough how much I appreciate her being here. It made the world of difference.

The kids are L♥O♥V♥I♥N♥G their baby sister. I was a bit worried about Bridget, but she has fallen right into her role as big sister and has loved every minute of it!

This little girl was meant to be in our family and I am so glad she is here! Now we shall see how we handle life with five children in tow. So far, it seems like I am going to be able to do okay. I have great help in Bayli and Tanner, thank heavens!

I was terrible at taking pictures of my belly this time...here is the buddha belly so I can remember that I was actually pregnant! :) Bridget took this picture...ha ha!
Just after she was born with mommy...

Daddy bonds with Baby Brightyn...Matt loves to stay at the hospital with me so he can get as much one-on-one time with our babies as possible before we get home to the hustle and bustle!

These kids got all "dressed up" to come and visit for the first time...it was pretty cute!

Sweet, Sleepy baby...I love those cheeks!
Mommy gives Brightyn a bath before we get ready to go home...she loved having her hair washed!
Ahhhh, that feels so good!

Getting dressed from her bath...

A binky baby...

"Bright Eyes"
Great Grandma Christensen meets Brightyn...her 26th great-grandchild!
Welcome Home, Brightyn!!
