I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can't wait to watch it again! All you Twilight fans out there, what are you waiting for? GO, GO, GO!!

To Vegas and Home again...((sigh))

Our Anniversary trip to Vegas was a blast! Nothing better than a little R&R, shopping, trying new restaurants, staying up late, sleeping in, and did I mention shopping? We stayed at the Planet Hollywood Hotel, which I love because it has the Miracle Mile Mall right in the hotel, plus tons of restaurants and some really awesome shows...we saw "Stomp", which Matt and I have seen before and which we love! It is amazing what music those people can make with almost anything!

We walked the strip for about 2 hours total and visited the M&M's Store and Coca-Cola. The strip is not my favorite, so we didn't spend too much time in any other hotels. We walked every floor of the M&M store and enjoyed the little tour of the making of the yummy candies!
Here's a bit of the R&R I was talking about. We didn't do too much of this, but we did it in style...right in the condo we were given a tour of while staying in our hotel! Wish we could have stayed here...

Trina and I found a few great deals and literally shopped til we dropped at the Premium Outlets, a must stop when we go to Vegas!

Matt and I with the Stratosphere in the background. We didn't get to ride it this time, but maybe I will ride it again someday! Until next time...what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...

Aaaannndddd We're Off...I hope...

Matt and I will be celebrating 12 years of marriage this month! I can't believe it! Time sure flies and the saying is true, you do get wiser with age! I hope I have grown for the better in our time together. I sure feel like I am a different person than the day we were married. I am so grateful for my husband, he is truly amazing! He is the most unselfish person I know. He is kind and funny and fun to be with. He is a great dad and I know I've said it before, but my kids absolutely love their dad! He is their hero, and he's mine too!

We take off tonight for Las Vegas with our good friends, Bill and Katrina. I have had a few bumps in the babysitting department, but we made back-up arrangements and now I think we are ready! I am very excited to spend the weekend relaxing and enjoying my time together with my sweetheart...HaPpY aNniVeRsaRy, hon, I love you!

The Twins are here!

My brother, Dane and his wife, Lynzi welcomed twin boys to their family on Monday night. Frazier (left) was born first, weighing in at 6 pounds 10 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long. Eli was born second weighing 5 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 1/2 inches long! They are doing great! Mom ended up having a C-section after a whole day of labor and not being able to push them out, but they are here safe and sound and mom is recovering!

Aren't they just adorable? I can hardly wait to see them and love on them! Congrats to the new parents! We love you and are always willing to help out if needed...(hint, hint :)

BYU game and Ladies in Red Reunion!!

What a gorgeous weekend we had! I loved it and had some fun times and made some great memories to boot! Matt was able to snag some BYU tickets from work for Saturday's game against San Diego State. We traveled to Orem on Friday night, stayed with my mom and went to the game on Saturday! It was so much fun. The weather was perfect, we even got a bit sunburned! Matt, Tanner, My dad and I were the ones who were lucky enough to go. The other kids had a great time hanging out with cousins.
Standing outside Lavell Edwards stadium...

Go Big Blue!

It was a blowout, but still fun to watch live!

These are the "ladies in Red" we call ourselves! We all worked together at Shopko about 13 years ago {{EEEK!!}} We wore red smocks and became great friends! We got together Saturday night for some eating and hanging out and chatting! It is so much fun to catch up with friends you don't always get to see! These ladies will always be my "Shopko" friends! I love them and had a great time catching up! Thanks to Lettie Lou for arranging this for Tammy Lou, Seppa Lou, Becky Lou, and me, Jeni Lou! And as always, thanks to my hubby who puts up with this part of me who loves to have breaks from kids every so often, and never complains about keeping the kids, even when he's at my mom's house! Love you, hon!

Tanner is a Wolf!

We had an exciting pack meeting last night as Tanner earned several awards, but most important was his Wolf...he was very proud, as were his parents!

The famous "pin the award on the mom" ceremony as the boys in my primary class are shouting "stick her"! Makes me feel really successful as a teacher that they want me in pain and agony! (All in good fun, Steph). I know they were just joking, and my sweet boy would never do that to his dear old mother!

This is the proud mommy with this handsome boy who gets more handsome by the day...just yesterday he was telling me about the girl at school who likes him and he said "and mom, I kinda like her too!" {{Gasp}}! He's growing up!

Proud to Be an American...

I was driving home this afternoon from running some errands and as I pulled into my driveway, I looked to the West and this "giant American Flag" caught my attention. Happy Halloween!

The kids enjoyed another Halloween this year filled to the brim of their sacks with candy galore! Each year, Melaleuca does an amazing trick-or treat path with each department decorating in a different theme. The kids look forward to it. Matt's department did Star Wars.

Matt dressed as a "Jawa"? I guess that is what it is called!

High School Musical Wildcats made their way into the picture!

Here we are getting ready to check out the High School Musical theme.
Then, our neighborhood does the annual "trunk or treat" so Bridget dressed in her warmest costume and we hung out on our driveway with friends and neighbors...

Day before Halloween...at the playground?

It is the day before Halloween and we are enjoying an afternoon at the playground...WHAT?? Is anyone else enjoying this weather as much as me? I LOVE IT!! My two little ones had a great time playing outside the school while the older two were practicing basketball...

Bridget loved to play "peek-a-boo" through this little hole.
Of course, Tucker gets into the action by noticing the attention on Bridget, so he decides to play "peek-a-boo" also!

"Hi, mom" she yells as she runs through this tube!

"Mom, look at me! Can you help me get down now?"

What cute little ones why do they have to grow up so fast?
