last day in the threes

 Monday was my last day of school.

 My teachers have been the best this year. I will miss them a lot next year.

 This is my first crush. She is the only girl from school that I talk about and will play with. I am not really sure if she knows that I think she cute and fun, but I think my face in these pictures says it all.

These are two of my buddies. I loved meeting new friends this year. Look like we will get to be in the same class next year too!  Yeah!

Yesterday I decided to try something new..tennis! I went to my very first lesson.

 Shh, don't tell but I learned that the secret passwords are bounce, hit. Here I am working on trying that out.

I had a great time and asked to go back next week!

We decided to have a party. Ties were required and we served play-dough cake with a candle.

she loves being a mom

She likes to tell us that this is the hardest and most rewarding job she has ever had. She also lets us know that there is nowhere that she would rather be than at home with us. Apparently having the three of us was very painful (understatement!), but she says she would do it over and over again to have us in her life.

hat parade!

Yesterday was the hat parade at my school. We had to make a hat using a 10" plate. It was a beautiful, but windy day. My hat wanted to take flight so I had to hold it down.

 Here I am with one of my buddies in the parade. Our teacher had to keep us moving at more than a snails pace.

 After the parade we went on a little train ride! They also had a few inflatables for all of us to play on.

 After jumping we headed to the carnival games. I loved fishing for prizes.

camping...sort of

Last weekend we went to a fun camp for a young family retreat. Daddy was not feeling well so we went up bright and early on Saturday morning.

 In the morning brother and I got to go sing and dance with Miss Gail. We also did a fun craft. Mommy, Daddy and Sister went to hear two great speakers. We rejoined the family for lunch together.

 After lunch we headed to our cabin for naptime. We were SO excited to use our sleeping bags. I liked the idea of taking a nap more than actually sleeping. So Mommy, Sister and I went for a adventure hike.

 The view was beautiful!

 Walking makes me hungry, so we stopped by the lake for a snack.

 Sister had to go down for a nap just when Brother was waking up. Daddy stayed with Sister while the three of us went out on a canoe! It was great fun. We saw giant tadpoles and enjoyed the beautiful views.

 Daddy also took us out on the canoe after naps were over.

 Next we went to the family games. Here are Brother and I doing the three legged race!

 We enjoyed a family hike before dinner.

 After dinner was the part I was most excited about- the campfire! It was a giant bonfire and really hot so all of the Daddy's had to roast the marshmellows.

The s'mores were delicious! It was a great trip and I have asked at least 30 times when we are going back to that camp. I hope it is soon!

Daddy's school had a family fun night last Thursday. All five of us got to go.

 Brother missed that you were suppose to toss the bean bag in.

 You are suppose to scoot back at least a foot like I did for this game.

I stood in line very patiently for over 30 minutes waiting on a balloon creation. When the balloon man asked what I wanted I said "a crazy hat" very loud. I did not want to miss my long awaited chance to get this great hat! It was worth the wait.

four months- pink dress

lately...

What have I been up to you ask? Well, I am enjoying being four. I love to say silly things and dance really funny. I have also started to tap into my creative side.

 I made these puppets out of paper bags and then performed a puppet show for the fam.

 I made a card for Poppy's birthday and drew a picture of the two of us. These are the first people I have drawn. I thought Mommy was going to keep the card instead of letting me give it to Poppy, but they she decided to scan it instead.

I had my four year check up last week. I got a shot which explains why I fell asleep on the floor in the afternoon.

 I also got this great shirt! We really do love my pediatrician. He is the best!
